Went around 12pm. What we had was brunch food. I ordered chicken and waffles and potatoes. The food was fantastic. I am not really a brunch person, I do not like mixing sweet and savory foods. Also, not a traditional breakfast food eater.
Looking at pictures and menus we thought there would be regular lunch food. I loved that their sweet tea came in these bottles. I am still using the bottles at home to drink out of.
Their potatoes were really good. Their chicken fingers well seasoned. All the food truly was fantastic. The service was fast and professional.
I do recommend.
The seafood omelette, salmon & grits and crab cake & grits were delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also enjoyed the corncake waffle, skillet potatoes, buttered biscuit, and mimosa flight. Everything exceeded our expectations. I wish I would have taken pictures to post with this review before everyone started eating. The only thing left was a bunch of empty plates and satisfied customers!
Great food, great service, and a relaxed brunch vibe. We will definitely be back!
The decor is beautiful. Whoever designed this layout is a star in my book. Pictures just don’t do it justice. Very classy without seeming pretentious. A lot of time, money and effort has been sowed in this restaurant and it shows. There is ample seating throughout, window seating, bar seating, and a separate section that would be ideal for an intimate group outing or someone celebrating a special occasion. Soft R&B music made for the perfect ambiance.
The food is cooked to order so there will be a short wait. The restaurant informs you of this online and there are signs posted that tell you this again. That’s never a big deal to me because I appreciate freshness. The Big Breakfast was brought out first. And it certainly was big! It’s enough to feed two or 3 people! Well worth the money charged for it if you’re sharing or like leftovers. The biscuit was a little hard, but the replacement that was brought out after we mentioned it to a server more than made up for it.
My salmon hash arrived shortly afterwards. I’m a picky salmon eater but taking one look at my dish, I knew it was prepared just as I wanted it to be. The salmon was well done without being dried out and full of flavor. The eggs and potatoes were perfection and the sauce on top was just the perfect touch that pulled everything together. Chef’s kiss! I enjoyed every bite I could eat! It was a lot of food and I ended up having some to take home for later. I would definitely order this dish again when I want to splurge on a delicious breakfast entree.
Which brings me to the cost. While I think the prices were fair for the dishes considering the amount of food we received, this is not a breakfast we could afford weekly. This would definitely be an order that I reserved for special occasions. However, I’m sure there are more affordable, everyday options to pick from. I will revisit soon to check out those options.
I enjoyed this visit and I highly recommend trying them out.
When we got there, we had to wait bc you have to order your food on a kiosk….you really cant ask questions about what your ordering. No waiter or waitress. We paid 60.00 dollars for us 2. My husband had potatoes and plant based sausage. I ordered a small breakfast platter and chicken waffle to go.
They brought his food out first. He was almost done when they brought the chicken and waffles out. The wings were huge and not cooked all the way thru……we asked for a to go box for that. My small breakfast platter was brought out after his food was completed. It was just okay…..the eggs were cooked to soft for me. The overall platter was lukewarm.
I really didn’t like the whole setup…..you cant tell anyone how to cook the food, for ex. eggs scrambled a lil hard and chicken wings fried hard.
Having to order your food on a kiosk with no interaction is weird to me.
Our experience was definitely not like the content creator I would give it a 4/10…..
The only complaint we had in our group was that the bacon was a little over cooked. Other than that we enjoyed every crumb— delicious cheese grits, chicken sausage was yum and we loved the chicken and waffles!!
Great option for carrying a small group, there were 8 ladies and we had plenty!
The musically playlist was fantastic as well.!
