Half a cheese steak and a personal size pizza 24 dollars. Both horrible. Pizza worst then dominos lacks sauce, def not fresh mozzarella, tasted real bland. Half a cheese steak maybe 4 inches long bread hard as a rock and seemed to be minute steak. Get this,wife complained about size and quality of steak and food and was told by some kid manager, were not a sandwich shop were a bistro, thats the way it comes. If you want a refund its gonna take 7 days. Used to order here alot loved it but its gone way downhill on quality, and especially service. Were Local by the way. Do yourselfs a favor, dont eat here. I know I won’t again.

Got the chicken alfredo. Amazing flavor perfect amount of flavor comes with two pieces of garlic bread. Buy the Alfredo it doesn’t suck like every other one if your kids are picky about onions come here. The onions here are amazing in the salad

We had a great dining in experience at the Italian Bistro. It appears from previous reviews that the restaurant has made some major improvements over the past year. The buffalo chicken pizza was good. The salad looked and tasted excellent. The staff was extra helpful and went out of their way to make our dining experience the best. Clean restaurant. The outside dining area is a definite plus. Highly recommend you give them a visit.

We eat here and continue to eat here because the food is fantastic! 10/10! My rating is low though, because without fail you will wait wayyyy longer than their estimated time. Add a good 30 mins at least. Today, wait time was an hour, which is fine! But I’m standing in store now waiting for 20 extra minutes and there’s no sign of my food. We don’t mind waiting for great food! We just wish the wait was accurate.
Update: ordered 5:20, ETA was 6:20, finally leaving at 6:52. Again, we don’t mind waiting at all because the food is amazing. But I had my dog in the car waiting and other time constraints that I would’ve planned differently had I known our actual wait time.

For us, this is the most frustrating place in Hampstead. They have great food, especially for this area, and they could compete very well food quality wise in other parts of the US more renown for Italian cuisine. When they came here, based on their Porter’s Neck reputation, we were excited.
Unfortunately, the ordering experience the past 2 years has been inconsistent & poor in general. Once again tonight, their online ordering portal was down. It’s great when it works but it didn’t tonight. So when I tried to call our order in, the line was busy, with no one to place you on hold. It makes me wonder, are they so busy they shut off their online system and phones to stop taking new orders so they can keep up? I ask sarcastically but the last thing anyone should experience is difficulty ordering pickup from any restaurant.
When we do get through, the pickup time wait is normally 40-50 minutes. However, I have had to wait longer for items like meatballs or salads which I presume are made in advance.
We have always ordered take out. It seems too crowded for dine in as their space is limited.
In summary, excellent food, but if one can’t order it, then save yourself the aggravation & consider other options.

We really liked the guy who was running this place. He was giving veterans their order on the house on Veteran’s Day! I thought that was very generous. We loved the pizza here and can’t wait to try other menu items! We are getting a pizza from here a second time this week and hoping delivery service is just as good. Apparently, the place is popular. It was so busy when we were there that we couldn’t find a seat. That speaks volumes. I do wish there was more seating, a wait staff, and that people could sit down and have a beer with their pizza. But, I would definitely recommend the pizza here.

Just ate dinner there again. We had the garlic cheese bread & supreme pizza, both delicious. The food is definitely worth the wait & be assured the guys are making pizza as fast as they can. Quality ingredients, delicious food, and friendly staff what else could you ask for.

This place is great. The Stromboli was.on point , absolutely delicious. My wife ordered a steak and cheese Stromboli, not thinking it came with peppers, onions and mushrooms. She just lkes it plain. They made her a fresh one and gave her some garlic knots for the wait. This above and beyond and is why we keep going back. Thank you!

I loved this place out of many pizza places near me but tonight I ordered a delivery and the pizza arrived cool and looking like it was two days old and wrinkled up. I asked for extra cheese and there is no way extra cheese was on there tonight unless it shrived up.
Maybe pickup is ok but I’ll be very weary of ordering delivery again. Sucks cause I really enjoyed this pizza. It’s just not the same. At all 🙁
