Great neighborhood/owned find. Online ordering was simple and easy to navigate. Pizza was on time, and came out the box steaming hot with crispy crust and freshness. 10 min drive home and pizza still crisp, topping fresh and flavorful and exactly what we needed!

This pizza was seriously good! The crust had the perfect crunch while still being soft inside. The cheese was melted just right, and the toppings were super fresh. I loved the mix of banana peppers, onions, and black olives—it gave a really nice tangy, savory flavor. Plus, the half-and-half topping style was a cool touch. Definitely a great choice if you’re into bold flavors with a little zing!

Yesterday we visited Cafe Amici and ordered a pepperoni with onions pizza and a greek salad to go. The pizza was fantastic with a crisy crust and the toppings were perfect. The Greek salad was awesome!! The vegetables were extremely fresh and the salad was very large. We got 2 meals from the salad. We will be back!! A sure HIT!!! Best pizza and salad we have had in a LONG time!!!!

I’ve been going to Amici’s since I was a kid & this place has always remained consistent with their quality of food. The owners have always addressed me by name, and it’s really a place that I have grown up eating and enjoying, and now as an adult will be raising my kids to enjoy it too as well

Tastes great, but this is NOT Chicago style deep dish.
I shouldn’t have gotten my hopes up. Moved to Jersey from Illinois, six months in and my deep dish cravings are stronger than ever. This place had good reviews and supposedly had an “authentic” Chicago style deep dish. Alas, it was too good to be true. The sauce is just dollops on top, and the crust is way different than anything you’ll see in Chicago. It tastes good (and I would maybe visit again for other things on the menu) but alas, for this Chicagoland native it was a big let down.

Ordered take out with the bruschetta pizza with mozzarella, cheesesteak pizza, and some hot wings. they were delicious and had a great crust. will definitely order here again.

Pizzas by the slice were great, the staff were super friendly, but we did choose this location so that a friend visiting from Chicago could compare NJ’s take on Deep Dish to our more standard NY-styled slice. Unfortunately some pictures available here on Google led us to believe there’d be some authentic-looking Deep Dish here, but what we got did not come close to our expectations.
Order pretty anything else and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. 😀

As I’ve said before, the work ethic in NJ is horrible. I made a big one order from this pizzeria, and one part of the order I wanted two slices of pepperoni but without cheese. They called me and said that it was impossible to do this. Really, you can’t make a fresh pie and carve out 2 slice spaces and put no cheese? Get the hell out of here. She said how about no cheese on the meat all Parm sandwich I ordered. NO! Why would you even suggest this? I really hope this place closes down. What a friggin joke!

I used to live in Somerset six years ago. I used to love to come to this pizza place. I moved to Linden to take care of my mother and Father-in-law to come back to Somerset and Taste. Cafe Amici‘s pizza was very refreshing because I have not found a good piece of store in lending yet. Come, try it you will love it
