YALL!!! This is probably the best restaurant I have found in Ironwood, MI. Crystal, our waitress, was wonderful! She gave me extra cool whip on my hot chocolate. She was constantly checking on us and our order was perfect. The food was so awesome. This is a place I would highly recommend and would go back to. I recommend the biscuits and gravy.
Also, the sausage links are delicious, they don’t look jimmy dean ones but they are wonderful. The pancakes are also good.

I love a little local food spot, and Pines Cafe fits that bill perfectly. The servers are friendly and the kitchen was cranking out orders. Everything was delicious and hot, perfect for our pre-sled meal.
I’m not a huge breakfast food person, so I was so greatful to be able to order lunch when everyone else wanted breakfast.

We were driving through from Ashland home and needed brunch and Ironwood seemed like the place. A little Googling and we decided on the Pines. Inside it was very clean, the woman who waited on us very friendly. The gluten free bread was wonderful and the food very good.
A few thoughts – print in the menu what Blackened tip sausage is (it’s great, try it!) and advertise you have the GF bread option.

Food was great and staff was friendly, but be sure to watch your bill. The receipt for our meal was $29.90 before tax but the total was written up as $ $43.30. I guess between that and the tip we left on top I hope the staff gets a big portion of it…

I showed up about 1 hour before close, and I asked for take out (we had dogs in the car). At first they said they were not doing take out over the phone, but I didn’t call ahead. I told the waitress that we had our dogs in the car, and she understood, and informed me that they were busy, and I told her there was no hurry. I get it, it’s lunch time!
So I checked out the menu and ordered my food to go. The wait was not as long as I expected it to be! I left a tip for the waitress, and we took our food to a near by park to eat it. It was SO good! We wanted to come back the next day, but we didn’t have time! We will be back! There is a reason people will wait for the food here! It was delicious!

Excellent food and good quick attentive service!
Our family of 6 stopped by Pines Cafe for breakfast on July 2, 2022. Despite a peak time we were seated right away. All orders came quick and correct. Each dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and done exactly as it should! Really impressive and it set our day to right tone and mood!
Food ordered:
Eggs Benedict with no bacon
Cinnamon French Toast
Hot Oatmeal
Veggie omelet and some other omelet
Homemade crepe – one with blueberry, raspberry and maple syrup; and one with strawberry and raspberry
We highly recommend Pines Cafe if you are in Ironwood!

This is a nice stop for breakfast or lunch. The menu is extensive with lotus of option for traditional bee and lunch cafe foods. The waiter was attentive and made sure our meals were good. There are vegetarian options, but very little vegan options. I did not ask for specific vegan options, so there may be vegan options that I am not aware of. My partner had a chicken sandwich that they said was good. The breast we average sized. The French fries were all small (my partner isn’t a fan of all little fries) . Not a big deal, but worth noting on their behalf. Decorations are all new and north woods style. Bathroom was nice, well maintained and clean.
