Had steak and eggs with hash browns & hot coffee. The food was excellent & the coffee was perfect & the cup never runs dry. A hid gem in a small town. Check it out if your ever up in that area or just passing through. You won’t be disappointed.

Stopped in on a recent trip for a family funeral. Just wanted a good tenderloin sandwich. Their tenderloin sandwich did not disappoint!! It was perfect. Very much recommend. May not look like much from the outside, but that sandwich is worth driving to eat. Host was terrific. Enjoyed our hour stop over. Would definitely eat there again.

Small diner located near the edge of town. Stopped around brunch, but we decided to peruse the all day breakfast menu. Prices were decent and portions were large. Simple but nice meal. Wait staff was courteous and attentive.

Really wanted this to be good. Not sure how this place is surviving with their menu having as many types of items as it has. A huge menu is a huge red flag. In contrary to other reviews, my group did not have a good experience and was very unsatisfied with the food. Would not recommend the Club Sandwich. Prices are reasonable.

We stopped in when we were in town and I had the best burger I have had in forever. I had the bacon BBQ burger, sis had the patty melt and mom had the chicken bacon melt. We also had the cheese curds.
While it wasn’t fancy, the folks there were incredibly nice and the food was so great!!! I will definitely go back.

A neat little place! I came here with my family and we had a wonderful time! Our waitress was really polite and made me smile! I recommend the chopped sirloin with the grilled onions!

My family and I came to Sumner on Memorial Day weekend to visit the cemetery where my husband, nephew and my parent’s graves. The weather was miserable… rainy and cold. We met there and had a very tasty lunch. After our trek to the cemetery, we came back and had hot cocoa and pie. The ladies there were wonderful and ended up not charging us! What a warm gesture to receive from my old hometown I give Sumner Family Restaurant a 10! We will be back!!❤️
