If you were ever sitting there with time to kill charging your EV at the Electrify America and across the parking lot, you see this place and ask yourself if you should go there the answer is definitely yes. You’re welcome. My order was ready in no time. You can sit and eat there, but I recommend just grabbing your food and walking back to your car.

My go-to spot whenever I have to drive I-5. I love the breakfast burrito with potato, but I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. I’m always on the hunt for a good vegetarian Mexican meal and this place hits the spot and is better than most fast food options along the route. The beans and rice were really flavorful. I wish they put a bit more salsa in the burrito but it was served it on the side and it was delicious.
Like others said it could stand to be slightly cleaner inside, but it’s not a deal breaker. They have bathrooms, a spacious inside area, and even an option to sit on the patio.

Look no further!!! OMG the best tacos I’ve ever had. So authentic so much flavor, the sauce!! I’ve had my share of lots of tacos but not like these. God bless their business, they seem to put God first with bible verses in the front by the register and have an amazing attitude and willingness to help. Such a lovely dinner, thank you so much for your hospitality!

Skip the busy palm treed burger spot down the street, this place is a WAY better choice. I tried five different tacos, they were all great. The stewed chicharron taco is a classic you don’t see very often where I live now, but I grew up with them & this place does them right. Lengua & chorizo are also great. My tacos came perfectly pre-dressed with cilantro, onion & salsa.
One HUGE advantage for travelers staying at the motels nearby is this is easier to walk to than the BBQ spot & the burger chains across the highway.
I will most certainly eat here again, it’s perfect.

Stop by on a friday afternoon. The pro of this place is a min walking from an electrify America charging station so we decided to give it a try, while our ev charges. It took us longer to order our food than what it took us to eat. I feel like they could have a better system for ordering and paying. The food was ok. The meat needed more seasoning. The place needed a good cleaning as there was food on the floor in some places. I think this place has potential just needs a renovation from the inside.

First – we tried out a few different meats: lengua, carne asada, and cabeza. All were so tender, juicy, and flavorful. The burrito and three tacos we ordered were very well constructed. The burrito.was HUGE! I shared the burrito with my college age daughter and we both walked away fully sated.
The decor is…. minimal. But don’t let that deter you. You come here for the good food and decent prices. I’ve always felt fancy decor was just a restaurant’s way of diverting your attention away from what matters – the quality of food.
This has become our new midway food break destination. So glad we found it!?

This place looks like it really has potential on being a good place to hang out given the space in side and the small stage for music bands. I’m curious as to how it is there when it’s busy. I’m giving the food a 4 star due to the fact that I ordered a burrito and it came out pretty dry. Their menu is pretty decent.
I guess I can give it another go if I’m ever traveling back to Sow Cal.

ESCUCHAME. This was literally the BEST chicken quesadilla I have ever had in my 34 years alive. The flavor was INSANELY delicious. The meat was not chewy. The tortilla was crispy the cheese was perfectly melted and it was piping hot when my order came out. 10/10 recommend and I’m so picky. I haven’t had a better quesadilla in Mexico and I live on the Tijuana border.

When you least expect it, this place by the I-5 serves delicious, authentic Mexican food! One of the best I’ve eaten at in California.
I recommend their Barbacoa and Adobada tacos. It’s finger food so it’ll be a little messy, but their bathroom is quite clean and every time I visit they’ve had hand soap refilled. what a relieve!
