I absolutely loved my visit to Bakery Museum & Co! The atmosphere is so beautiful and cozy — such a perfect spot to relax and enjoy something sweet. The customer service was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

The cakes were delicious! I tried the pistachio cake and the chocolate trilogy cake — both were amazing with that soft, mousse-like texture. If you love light and creamy desserts, you definitely need to try them. My personal favorite was the pistachio cake… so flavorful and perfectly balanced!

I also had a lavender latte. If you enjoy your lattes on the stronger side, it’s a must-try from their menu. If you prefer a softer, milder latte, it might not be for you.

Overall, such a lovely cafe experience — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Fantastic café spot! Despite being always busy, the warm, and excellent atmosphere manages to feel cozy even with a full house. The staff is incredible… attentive, friendly, quick! Last time I was here, I was the second person inside, and they established eye contact from the time I entered. Combined with good food and selection (highly recommend the basque cheesecake and blt) and a calm, friendly crowd, this is clearly a favorite spot for a reason.

Fantastic Cafe with great ambiance and character. Really cozy little place. Came really early in the morning so was still nice and quiet. The service was great. They took time to explain everything and were attentive. I ordered the the Morning Stack and was really happy with it. Fresh and warm. It also ordered the pistachio latte. Great to see they don’t use the nasty syrup and instead use a paste. Really happy with the latte. Also tried their pistachio maccron and it was decent. Will come again.

Bakery Museum & Co. is the kind of place that quietly pulls you in and then convinces you to stay longer than planned—in the best way.

This is not just a bakery and coffee shop in Fairfax. It’s a meeting place. The kind where friends linger over conversation, where business partners slide laptops onto the table without it feeling stiff, where creatives come to sip coffee and actually get inspired instead of distracted. The atmosphere is warm, calm, and effortlessly inviting—cozy without being cramped, polished without being pretentious.

I ordered the tiramisu iced latte, and it was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced—indulgent without being heavy. It’s the kind of drink you sip slowly while talking, typing, or thinking. For food, I had the Baconado breakfast sandwich on gluten-free bread, and it was deeply satisfying. Savory, filling, and thoughtfully made—proof that gluten-free breakfast options in Fairfax don’t have to feel like a compromise.

They serve breakfast and lunch, making it an easy go-to whether you’re meeting family in the morning, grabbing a mid-day bite with coworkers, or stopping in solo to work or unwind. The pastry case alone feels like an invitation—beautifully displayed, tempting, and clearly crafted with care.

What really sets Bakery Museum & Co. apart is how usable the space feels. It’s ideal for:
• Catching up with friends
• Casual business meetings
• Working remotely without feeling rushed
• Creating content in a setting that looks and feels good

The energy is calm, grounded, and welcoming—never chaotic, never cold. You can tell this is a place people return to, not just pass through.

If you’re searching for a coffee shop in Fairfax, VA that works just as well for connection, productivity, and comfort as it does for great food and coffee, this spot delivers. Bakery Museum & Co. isn’t loud about how good it is—it just is.

This is a bakery and coffee shop with plenty of seating in a bright and spacious corner spot. Lots of natural light through two walls of windows. The bakery items are delicious and they also offer a wide variety of sandwiches. I tried the caramel apple sweet roll with a lavender latte. The latte was especially good – smooth, well balanced, not overly sweet or too heavy on the lavender.
Service was very efficient – my drink was ready by the time I paid and walked to the end of the counter.

Great first visit — super cute place. It was packed, which is always a good sign. Lots of seating options: tables, sofas, and comfy spots to hang out. Tons of sweet and savory choices. Service was fast and friendly. The tiramisu latte was fantastic — ridiculously smooth. Already can’t wait to go back and actually try the food.

This is a good size cafe with lots of coffee options to choose from and also bakery and breakfast items. There are some pastries that are prepackaged and ready to grab if you want to pay and go a little more quickly. There are also quite a few different types of pastries and desserts that are behind the counter to order. I was not a huge fan of the americano, but I did try a samoa latte and it was tasty. There is quite a bit of seating inside, including both larger and small tables. A row of small tables by the window also have access to outlets if you need to charge a device a little bit while sitting.

The customer service was very good as well. It’s definitely a fun place to stop in and try out.

I recently visited Bakery Museum based off of a recommendation. I ordered their Morning Stack breakfast sandwich with chicken instead of bacon or ham, as well as their Tiramisu latte, and a couple of their Dubai-style macarons. The breakfast sandwich seemed fresh, and tasty, although the eggs seemed to be the liquid eggs that are sold in grocery stores as opposed to a freshly cracked or scrambled egg. I would have preferred the fresh egg version if possible. The Tiramisu latte was great and well-balanced. I was deciding between the Tiramisu latte and the Samoa Cookie Latte initially, which I’ll have to definitely try if I return again. As for the macarons, unfortunately the ‘Dubai-style’ chocolate and pistachio mixture seemed quite old and stale which was just plopped on top of the macaron. They did have quite a bit of the Dubai-style desserts but unfortunately in my opinion, they weren’t fresh and a lot of use of gold leaf/foil, which they also had on their pastries and cake slices, isn’t ideal in my opinion. I’m not a big fan of too much gold leaf used for decoration as who truly knows what the actual ingredients are in a cheap sheet of ‘edible gold foil’? Overall, their Dubai-style pastries could be better in terms of taste and freshness, and also appearance. The cafe was clean, staff were friendly and it was overall a good experience other than what was mentioned. Thank you! 🙂

Bakery Museum is where carbs get tenure and butter is basically the founding father.

It’s part bakery, part museum, part “I only came in for coffee and somehow left with three pastries and zero regrets.” This is a French-inspired pastry shop, so think refined, buttery, beautifully crafted treats—elegant without being intimidating or snobbish.

The exhibits are charming, the vibe is cozy, and the baked goods are dangerously persuasive. Bonus points for being koshar/halal, so indulging feels effortless instead of investigative. ✔️✨

What really sealed it for me was the crowd. My style can lean selectively bold—sometimes classic, sometimes statement—and it felt refreshing to be in a space with everyday, modern people where no one’s quietly assessing anyone else’s outfit. Easy, comfortable energy all around.

The décor deserves its own applause. It genuinely reminded me of two beautiful bakeries in Lahore—warm, elegant, thoughtfully designed, and full of character. The kind of place that makes you slow down and actually enjoy your coffee. ☕✨

And yes—this is a remote worker’s sweet spot: strong caffeine, reliable Wi-Fi, and enough sugar to emotionally support your inbox. ☕

I’ll definitely be back. Come for the coffee, stay for the pastries, and enjoy being exactly yourself while doing it. ✨

Another great addition to Fairfax. There is no such thing as too many coffee shops.

As soon as I entered, I was taken aback by how large and packed it was….and so nicely decorated.

They had a list of fall drinks, as well as pictures to go with the drinks, which always helps. We ordered the pink matcha and biscoff latte. I typically prefer hot drinks, but Bella suggested iced instead. Luckily, I Was able to place the order with no ice and still not order hot. Both drinks were insanely amazing.

They had a lot of pastries and other food items in front of the counter. After I placed the order I noticed the bretzels and had to try the chocolate one. They offered to warm it up, but the staff said it’ll get soggy, so I said I’ll take it as is and air fry at home. They also have a lot of Dubai chocolate flavored food items (macarons, brownies, croissants).

The customer service provided by Bella was amazing. She was very helpful and friendly.

We came on a Friday afternoon, and it was packed. There were also a lot of customers picking up orders to go.

They sell a lot of super cute swag including pop sockets, totes, stickers, fancy candles (that look and smell like the beverages they sell). I didn’t buy any as I prefer to drink my beverages versus smell it.

The coffee shop is located at a small strip mall. There is parking available in the front and around, but fills up fast, shared by other businesses.

Would I return? Yea for sure!
