My friends and I came here on a Sunday morning so it was pretty busy but we were able to find a table in the back corner.

My friends ordered beef bahn mi’s with sugar cane juice and I got the house special combination bahn mi with cafe sua da (vietnamese coffee). The sugar cane juice was refreshing and the cafe sua da had that nice roasted flavor and was strong- it helped me through the drive back to HTX.
Speaking of HTX, I’m pretty spoiled with the Vietnamese food there but the bahn mi here is decent!

Overall, the food/drinks were good, the service was pretty fast, and the lovely ambiance was full of Vietnamese aunts and uncles having a great time with their family.

Baguette House in Austin is such a hidden gem. I got the beef banh mi and it was good with super crispy bread, just a little thinner than most banh mis I’ve had, but still one of the better spots in the city. I also grabbed the viet coffee and it was fire, especially after the ice watered it down a bit. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving a solid banh mi and coffee!!

The Vietnamese coffee was an awkward texture grainy but the flavor was good. It didn’t taste watered down like the other places I’ve been to. A good banh mi without paying $15 at a restaurant. I will 100% be coming back here!

Grabbed a sandwich for lunch & was pleasantly delighted! Had the house special & plan on trying the BBQ pork on my next trip. Friendly & quick service, great price, & it’s on my daily route! I’ll be back for more soon! Probably tomorrow.

Baguette House and Cafe is my go-to when I’m craving a fresh, flavorful Vietnamese bánh mì. The baguettes are perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and generously filled with fresh vegetables, herbs, and well-seasoned meats. My favorite is the beef which is savory, and just the right amount of sweetness.

The service is quick and efficient, making it great for a lunch break or a grab-and-go snack. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and portions are filling without being heavy. The space itself is casual and straightforward — not fancy, but clean and welcoming.

I got the vegetarian banh mi and definitely tastes so fresh. Gotta to be one of the best I ever had. Would come back again.

A nice little Vietnamese Bánh mì Caffe, I think I already visited their Caffe 3 times already. To me shrimp Bánh mì is the best. Also love their coconut & pandan jello.

I’ve been to Vietnam and this place is the closest I’ve had to a real authentic banh mi. It’s because they bake their own bread and the right bread is critical for a great banh mi sandwich. It must be a legit Vietnamese baguette. Not a French baguette, not bolero bread, not a Kaiser roll, not anything other than a Vietnamese style baguette. They also sell their bread and it’s delicious. Highly recommend.

Not much just easy to go Vietnamese sub places in Austin except Baguette House. Their subs are pretty good, but not a fan of the French baguette bread. Wish they had the traditional viet style baguette bread. The bread was abit hard that it cut my gums. The filling like the mayo, pate and cold cuts were good but just felt like they cheap out with the filling. For now it’s my to go viet sub place.
