I picked a busy day to visit. When I arrived they had a painting class going on. I ended up sitting in the corner with my girlfriends. We stayed there for 2 hours enjoying the atmosphere, music & conversation.
Plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. Some really great nooks for reading & quiet conversations.
Everyone enjoyed their drinks & we had a wonderful time.

Expensive for the quality. $8 for a medium latte and the milk is not steamed properly. Why is the pitcher just sitting under the steamer while the milk is screaming because it has no air in it? And it showed in the milk texture of my latte. No coffee flavor, just overly sweet Torani syrup. Lovely service though!

Overall the Holy Grind Coffee House is the absolute best coffee shop in Chine Grove. The service here is so good, I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes for my coffee. I love the cozy environment and the versatile seating this allows for a great place to read or hangout with friends.

A Gem of a coffee shop in China Grove, NC. Delicious coffee and custom drinks. Great selection of fresh pastries, muffins and scones that look far better than what you’d get Starbucks. The staff is very friendly and prompt.

I’m not the best at making coffee but when my Mr. Coffee makes a better drip cup from off brand pre-ground medium roast, you know there’s room for improvement. Also, to add to what others have stated, the management there is so belittling to their employees. They really should read a couple of those Bible verses they have plastered all over the walls and incessantly blaring from the audio. There’s only one commandment, it’s not that difficult.

I have been SO excited to try this coffee house and wanted to LOVE it. Unfortunately, I was sadly disappointed. I let the lady at the counter know right away that this was our first time and was hoping for suggestions, but got nothing. I told the cashier that I normally go with a chai latte but wanted something different, then before I knew it, they had already starting making the chai latte. And then they gave me oat milk when I asked for almond milk, twice. Also, the pastries are from Sam’s Club and I would love to support local businesses that support other small businesses. But the cinnamon roll was legit.
What I did love was the decor. Beautiful, contemporary yet cozy, just cool.
Again, I wanted to love this coffee place SO much, but my husband and I both felt the service was cold and it didn’t give us that warm and cozy feeling that we feel going into local places like Local Patriots. I hope your experience is better. Happy eating!

The coffee is always great whether hot or iced! I’ve never had bad service & the atmosphere is really great! Jesus is there!! Be sure to try an ice Peanut Butter & Jelly!!

Never have I been to a more cozy location. Coffee was great, not too expensive and fresh af. The smell of their medium roast smacked me across the face before it hit my lips. Highly recommend coming here to chill and drink some delicious coffee.
