Delicious, authentic food. Even though it’s called The Golden Burrito, I usually order tacos the first time I try a Mexican restaurant. I went with al pastor, chorizo, and steak tacos. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the tacos were phenomenal.
I’ll definitely be back to try the burritos next time.

I’ve picked up tacos here dozens of times. These are some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. They aren’t cheap, but if you order their combo meals they aren’t a bad value.
The chicken tacos are the staple. I would recommend getting them your first time here. The chicken is always cooked and seasoned perfectly. The veggies on top are always fresh as well.
The carnitas are delicious. I think they are a bit saltier than the chicken. My favorite however are the al pastor tacos. Simply the perfect taco.
They always offer a red and green sauce. The red is spicier, quite a bit actually. And I usually use both on my tacos.
I only ordered a burrito here once. It was fine, but I feel the tacos are the reason you should visit again and again and again and again and again…..
Oh, and the raspberry cheesecake chimichangas are delish!
I’ll be back here often. One of my favorite places in Mansfield to grab grub.
Edit: Decided to change up my order and got the burrito combo with chips. I can’t lie, it seemed better than the first time I ordered a burrito here. Maybe the cook was having an off day the first time I ordered a burrito.
But today, not the case.
It’s big, and full of my favorite ingredients. The grilled chicken is really tasty. It’s the best chicken I’ve had at a burrito shop. The cheese was melted, which is a big step up from Chipotles cold shredded cheese.
I asked for pinto beans with mine, and they had a lot of flavor actually. The fried rice is perfect as well.
And if you get the combo with chips, salsa, and a drink, it’s a really good value. It’s a full serving of chips and salsa, much like you would get at a sit down Mexican restaurant.
Oh, and the chips are salted. Hallelujah! The salsa is pretty standard salsa you would get at any Mexican restaurant. But it’s just what you want to go with your burrito.
All in all, everything is great here. Eat here and eat here often I say. And I do!

I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, especially because I usually really enjoy this place. We almost always order the burritos and they’ve consistently been great. This time, though, something felt off. We decided to try the tacos and unfortunately they missed the mark. The tortillas were thick and dry, and for a fairly large order of tacos we only received two very small containers of salsa. I realize I could have ordered extra, but at $3–4 per taco I expected a bit more to be included.
The side of guacamole also came out very warm—almost hot—which was unusual and a little off-putting. I’m hoping this was just an off day, because we’ve had so many good experiences here in the past. I’d love to see the quality of the tacos and sides brought up to the standard we’re used to.

Do not order the iced tea as a drink. They will give you a bottled green tea which is absolutely not iced tea. The soda is a nice large size cup. For the desert one order came with the sauce for it and the other did not, same exact item ordered. The burritos were fresh and hot. The portions for guacamole and nacho cheese were decent.

I love this place and their food so much! There can be a wait at the drive thru but I don’t mind that, it’s worth however long. My husband & I get a combo #1 burrito & combo #2 tacos. So GOOD! Always fresh, very filling portions, always have some left over for another meal or midnight snack. I’ve seen people complain about the raspberry chimis but we have yet to get a bad one, comes with a raspberry dipping sauce, YUM! My only minor complaint would be the price but when you step back and look at all the food that you get it is well justified and worth it.

I ordered a nacho tonight and due to the guy having poor English I thought he said my exact cents was 17 cents and it took him forever to give me my change. When he finally did I said I gave you exact change he was like I said 70 not 17. They need to get this together and when someone order a nacho do not put all of those cold toppings on top of the nacho because it cools it down. Hot food should be hot not cold .

This place is absolute fire! I’m in town for work and needed to door dash lunch. Seen this place on the way in and it looked just small and unassuming enough to be something special. I was right! Ordered a steak burrito mild with black beans and chips with queso. The queso was very good and the cups were fresh but the real star was the burrito. Literally every component was good and could be tasted. None of that indescribable mush like other places. At first I thought the price was a little high but aside from the taste and texture being perfect it was huge! Definitely worth the price. I stood it on its end next to a water bottle for comparison. I really can’t say enough good things about this place and can’t wait to try more next time I’m in town.

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant. This isn’t it.
Ordered for pickup & that went well . Much of the steak burrito was good. But not the steak. Even with it cut into bite size pieces, it was unchewable. Like beef flavored rubber. And it was very overcooked. One piece was so cooked it was black and so hard, I thought it was glass. Nearly broke my tooth. Had to pick out all the steak so I had something to eat.
A place that doesn’t give it’s best food to those who order pick up or delivery only hurt themselves. You might pass off overcooked or day old meat but you lose a customer. And everyone they tell.
Very disappointed. Especially because of the 4.6 rating and good reviews. Should have gone to
Photo show inedible steak from half of the burrito. You can see it’s overcooked.
I don’t recommend the steak burrito. The carnitas taco was good.
