Gub Gub’s is a pizza and ice cream shop run by a local family and located inside a restored 1960 Standard Oil Gas Station in the heart of downtown Walsenburg. We specialize in an East Coast, deck oven style pizza with tons of salad, wing and appetizer options in addition to our slices and pies. Enjoy our bar complete with local beer, wine, margaritas and more while you wait! We offer indoor and outdoor seating with a child’s play area, and welcome dogs on leashes supervised by owners on our outdoor premise. We hope you come by!

Super legit pizza!!!! Amazing atmosphere! This is the spot to stop and rest and refuel your belly. I had a delicious coke float. They have hand made bagels, too! So much to look at; it’s a feast for the eyes, too! ✅

Great spot to enjoy food and drink on Halloween! Nice bar and patio with heaters and play areas for all ages. Liam and the rest of the staff were conversational, friendly, and welcoming – and all in costume for the night! As a visitor to town, I wish I had more time to try more of their stuff. We had a delicious stromboli and it was impossible to put down. The sauce truly tasted like it was homemade. I can imagine this as being a really cool spot almost any time with a nice atmosphere downtown. As a visitor to town, i’ll remember GubGub as a go-to. The oktoberfest marzen was smooth and a perfect match to the atmosphere, food, and evening as a whole. The patio has tons of space and games for parties to play. The staff at closing time was still warm and welcoming, and the whole place had fun decorations. The patio was decked out for Halloween. I’d like to try everything on the menu!

We stopped for lunch and both pizzas were delicious! The owner was present and with it being a family business there’s a clear focus on the customer experience to drive this business forward.

This place is peak, I had a salmon locks bagel (the frank) with roasted garlic on a jalapeno cheese bagel. Holy tomoly, having grown up around New York and Montreal bagels my whole life, I can confidently say this was the best bagel sandwich of my life. This is a must stop place for now and forever

Hands-down, one of the best places to eat not just in Walsenburg but also Huerfano County! Stromboli was the best I’ve ever had and the Greek salad was great. Their ice cream was good too, but what’s unmatched was the service and atmosphere with cornhole, picnic tables, Giant Jenga and large outdoor legos for the little ones. They have have a cool bar inside with a one of the largest beer selections I’ve seen in the area. My new favorite spot!

You have to try this place; the food is super awesome, and the people are friendly! We were on our way to drop off a little one at college and needed some nourishment. We found this place on the map and decided to check it out. The atmosphere is really cute with a cool motorhead vibe. The music had us all dancing and shaking our butts! We all agreed on the large BBQ chicken pizza, and it did not disappoint. It was extremely tasty, with the perfect crust, amazing BBQ sauce, and just the right hint of onion that added a unique pop of flavor!

Tonight was my first time here on the way back from the sand dunes & this was by far the best pizza I’ve ever had in Colorado. 2 of my friends & I shared the single slice Supreme & rabbit food (HUGE SLICES) and both were delicious only difference rabbit food didn’t have meat on it. Also shared the 14” when pigs fly & it was sooo good! This size pizza feeds 3 ppl. This place really knows how to make the crust on the bottom perfectly crispy. Their vanilla shake was also delicious and not too sweet!!!
I would also like to leave a review on the style of this place. So unique, it’s literally an old refurbished gas station and it is just so cool. The atmosphere was so inviting & the place opens fully to outside seating and it’s such a cool place to enjoy a great meal. Great service, got our food quick & Bathrooms were also clean!

Amazing food and atmosphere. Great place big portions lots of options, and very vegan friendly! Kiddos absolutely loved the outside games! This is a “must stop” for sure.
