I was taken here on a date, and for Jonesboro, this spot is IMPRESSIVE. The environment is warm, and though the lights are low, each table has a lamp for intimate lighting. Judd was our server, and since it was our first time dining, he did an excellent job of recommendations, explaining different dishes to us, and was so very kind and patient! Our appetizer was sooo good, like a fried mozzarella ball with rice and peas. I did the Salmon for the entree, SO delicious with flavors that mixed very well. Our dessert was the Tiramisu, and it was like nothing I’ve ever tasted. 10/10 all around, and look forward to returning, soon.

Overall, a great experience. 1 persons sweet potatoes weren’t quite done. Had to send a couple of steaks back. Server was very gracious and took care of it. Steaks were delicious and sides were delicious. Entertainment was not impressive. Service was fantastic.

We had an early, quiet dinner upstairs on 3/1/25. Seth was a great server. We had the blueberry drop martini (x2), bang bang shrimp was crispy and saucy, delicious crab stuffed lobster and salmon with twice baked potato. We enjoyed our food very much!

We went as a party of 3 during prime seating with no reservation and had no wait. We were offered our choice of seating upstairs where there are many options including a full bar. Atmosphere was warm and inviting with a nice view over downtown and main Street. Service was decent but the food was AMAZING. I had a steak with shrimp and grits. My wife had crab crusted salmon and my son had jambalaya over linguine. The steak was perfect and the salmon may have been the best I’ve ever had.

Really want to give a good review because we had good experience the first two times. The food is phenomenal, but this time the service and wait time were too long. It felt like we had to put our knives and folks down to have someone come to our table. We had plans afterwards, and we ended up having to cancel that because we had to wait far too long for a check to be brought to us.

I went here for a business meeting and we each got different items from the menu. I got the Hawaiian Ribeye which was one of their more popular entrees. I am not usually a fan of sweet tasting meets, but this was cooked to perfection. Charbroiled on the outside and super tender on the inside. The atmosphere was nice but it did get kind of loud during the busy hours. Overall, this was quite the gem in downtown Jonesboro!

Decent food but the place gets very loud in the evening. We were at a private event but had a hard time having a conversation.
Deserts were exceptional.

We are visiting Jonesboro and never expected this 5-star experience. Judd was an exceptional server who knew the menu and made suggestions that he understood would appeal to us based on our email reservation request. Every sip and bite was incredible!
We sat in a booth under the stairs and all commented how lovely it is to not be bombarded with music (although there was ambient music) or noise from other tables.
The food was superb! Our table ordered the gamut and every one of us was completely pleased.
Thank you for a wonderful celebration!

This is my second time at Omar’s, and it was a better experience than the last (though the first experience was also pretty great)! We started off with two drinks, a Paloma and the Heatmiser. The Paloma was incredibly refreshing, and thankfully not as sweet as I thought it was going to be. The Heatmiser was pleasantly spicy, and almost tasted like licorice treat. I ordered a second Paloma and my boyfriend got a Martini, which was a lot stronger and stout than expected. We ordered two appetizers, the Tuna Tartare and the Spinach Dip(which we also ordered last time). The Tuna Tartare was the best out of the two. I was nervous to have a bread cracker with what’s basically the ingredients of sushi, however the cracker was a replacement for sushi rice, so they paired well together. It was also a good refreshing and light appetizer before a heavy meal. I ordered the Filet Au Poivre and my boyfriend had the Veal Picatta. In my opinion, the Veal Picatta was very acidic for my taste, but my boyfriend saw the appeal and loved it. It was extremely filling, and at some points the Veal itself was tough, but it didn’t detract from its overall taste. The Filet basically melted in your mouth, as the meat was soft and tender, as a Filet should be. The twice baked potato was the best side dish here, in my opinion. The top has a good crust and below is soft potato goodness. The buttered asparagus is exactly how buttered asparagus should be: soft, easy to chew, and salty. Overall, our meal was 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!
