Stopped here after seeing it for a long time. Had a nice lunch. BLT was loaded with lots of crunchy bacon. Spicy chicken sandwich had nice heat and the tots were crunchy. Burgers were good and sizeable. Onion rings were a little undercooked and stuck together. Service was excellent. It was a cold day and it was pretty empty but I think they usually have a decent crowd and the patio offers nice seating outside.

Stopped by on a Friday evening, passing through town. We had the stuffed mushrooms, the rib eye steaks, and two ice-cold beers. The atmosphere was perfect, and it embodied what an old town should feel like with the flavors of an upscale restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Fremont Provisions is a great restaurant with delicious food and very friendly staff. I appreciated the on-street van accessible parking located within half a block, which made getting to the restaurant fairly convenient. However, as a wheelchair user, I experienced several accessibility challenges that made parts of the visit difficult. The bases of the tables prevent wheelchair users from pulling up close enough to comfortably eat, as the front of the wheelchair can’t slide underneath. The restrooms both male and female multi user have multiple issues that may make them unusable for many wheelchair users. The toilets only allow front-approach access, meaning a wheelchair user would have to pull straight in, stand up, and turn completely around to use them. The mirrors are mounted too high to see your face from a seated position. The sinks do not provide knee or toe clearance, so you can’t get close enough to wash your hands. The restroom doors have round knobs instead of lever handles, which are difficult for many people with disabilities. Additionally, there is only one grab bar, and it is mounted much too low (around 27 inches), which does not meet accessibility standards and makes transfers unsafe. Despite these barriers, the dining experience itself was excellent. I truly enjoyed the food and the hospitality of the staff. With some accessibility improvements, this could be an outstanding experience for everyone in the community.

I thought the food was very good the prices were reasonable,the atmosphere is nice and open. The waitstaff are very friendly. We came for lunch which was very good. While there we learned that they serve a brunch special with all you can drink bloody Mary’s and mimosas. So we came back for Sunday brunch. It also was very good. I usually am not a fan of buffets. But it was very good. We will definitely put Fremont Provisions in our rotation for dinner lunch or breakfast.

Good: kind service and brought dog bowl proactively to our pup. The salmon bowl was pretty tasty overall. Inside has a nice atmosphere.

Ordered a mocktail which clearly says it’s $7 vs $12 for regular cocktail. They still insisted on charging $12 even after I pointed it out… saying it’s due to using “alcohol free vodka.” Aka BS. Says $7 clearly on the menu.

Absolutely delicious food, best artichoke dip we have ever had. Wongs were good and meaty with quit a bit if kick. Service was great and the open floor plan and history of the building is amazing. Highly recommend.

Absolutely a must-see stop in downtown Cañon City, CO! Fantastic service, excellent food, lovely environment, & in a beautifully restored historic location. Ask for Jaime, the restaurant manager, to get the best service & insider tips for your visit to the Fremont Historic District & the surrounding area. Loved everything about our stop here & a 22-person crew should be hard to manage, but Jaime handled it like the professional she is! FABULOUS!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
