This was a great little diner for a quick breakfast before heading back home from our weekend get away.
The waitress was quick and friendly. We have never seen a bacon, egg and cheese this big! Would definitely go back!
The only reason I gave atmosphere a 4 was because it’s a little dated.

Got myself some coffee and the Double Cheeseburger. Great meal and lovely staff. Easy to walk to from the local inn. Will be making a routine stop here on my travels from now on.

As soon as we walked in we were not greeted so decided to seat ourselves at the bar. We sat the and waited for someone to come take our drink order well in the meantime there was a waitress leaning at end of bar talking to a local customer and seen us never paid us any attention. Others were walking by and talking amongst to each other. Just about every table was dirty. The dish lady was putting her dirty dishes on the bar and washing them by hand as we sat there. The food just ok nothing special to talk about. After she took our order and food was ready it sat on side while the waitress was talking to another local man. The dish lady had to tell them that there was hot food up. Customer came in and had to wait for a clean table. They we not busy so dirty tables should have been cleaned. My experience is there is always something to clean in a restaurant. If your not local don’t waste your time there. We definitely will not be going back to that place.

We had a BLAST at this fun diner! Our waters we spectacular while our burgers were top notch! The pancakes rocked my face off after I mixed in a little bacon and sunny side egg! Loved the diversity of patrons and definitely felt comfortable sitting amongst the locals! Highly recommend! Open 24/7!!!

Great Breakfast! If you’re ever in West Jefferson you’ve got to have breakfast at the Coffee House. A hidden gem off of Hwy 221 in front of Ingle’s grocery store. I had a standard 2 egg breakfast with sausage, grits, and a buscuit (Also had a side of sausage gravy.) Everything was delicious. Prices were very reasonable and service was excellent.

We ate breakfast here for Father’s Day, we were seated immediately – but the place was pretty busy.
We ordered within the first 5 minutes or so and then proceeded to wait 75 minutes for our food.
Our waitress was kind, and helpful – but seemed to be the only one working. There was also only one cook on the grills.
It was so loud in there that it was overwhelming, and made the long wait almost unbearable. We almost left after the first 30 minutes but decided to stick it out.
Most of our food was really good – especially the eggs, bacon, and gravy – but the chopped steak was very bland.
Overall, the food would be worth the price and worth a typical 15 minute wait, but we will likely not return due to the extremely long wait time.
