During my visit today, the barista assisting me (whose name I did not catch) displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude. I politely asked if it would be possible to try the vanilla bean cold foam so I could decide whether I would like to order it in the future. In response, she rolled her eyes and made a rude expression. Because the store was very loud, I also had to repeat myself several times in order to be heard. She asked another employee to provide the cold foam sample. After returning to my car, I realized that the salted brown butter topping I had paid for—and specifically requested extra of—had not been added to my drink. I returned to the counter to have it corrected. When the barista saw me approaching, her demeanor immediately changed and she appeared visibly irritated. When I asked if the topping could be added, she informed me that they were out. I then asked if there might be an alternative topping available, but had to repeat the question multiple times before receiving a response. Eventually, another barista—who was noticeably more courteous—provided chocolate curls instead. Overall, I was disappointed by the way I was treated during this interaction. As someone who has been a regular customer at this location for years, I expect a basic level of professionalism and courtesy. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this location in the foreseeable future.
We rarely ever go to this location because of the service and the constant mistakes. Every couple of months we try to give it a chance but they are horrible each time. Save yourself the time and go to the Sam Fur location if you can.
