Pita Pit

Went into Pita Pit yesterday with my fiancé to get the chicken Caesar pita and a steak Mediterranean pita. The only person inside was already taking care of an order but was prompt to take our order. Multitasking like a boss! Very happy for pitas, made perfect even with the complicated toppings requested! Great job and will be coming back for more

I was in town to the state high school soccer tournament and stopped by this location before leaving town. When I was ordering my food the cashier was pleasant and seemed new because she had to ask the other person there for help with the menu. I placed an order with my two daughters and left to wait in the car. My daughter comes out upset and asks me to help her with her order because they didn’t get the salad she wanted in the order. When I went in the girl that was helping the newer one was at the register. I’m explaining to her that I didn’t get the salad on my order and she got defensive and told me that I never ordered a salad and she said she was standing behind her and knows that I never told her what kind of salad. I wasn’t being rude when I told her that I was just explaining what happened and she immediately responded with attitude. That clearly would make anyone upset and so we got into a back and forth my daughter was crying and at that point I was not giving this place another dime and left still arguing as I walked out. I can not even believe the unprofessionalism in which the situation was handled. Wasn’t even a big deal but your not going to tell me I don’t order something when we in fact did, just admit the mistake and make the food. PERIOD! I will continue to go to the downtown Boise location and avoid this one at all costs.

Hit or miss. Usually a hit. Same with staff. Some of them aren’t very friendly, but most of the time they are. Food is always fresh and servings are generous. They are our go-to for evenings when I don’t feel like making dinner. Wish there was one closer to home. ***it’d be nice if they improved their kids menu. Not alot to choose from and kind of spend for a kids meal***

Very tasty. Add in additional toppings and you have a mighty good pita. Pita chips are good. You can get white or wheat pita. Staff very helpful and friendly

The guy took my order, i notice he is wearing plastic food service gloves, which is weird, cause he’s handling the register and money. Then he immediately goes over to make my food. To my shock and horror, he does not change his gloves, and begins mashing up something on a cook top grill with his dirty gloved hands. What he mashed up ended up being the “falafel” he served me.

This was my first time ever trying the chain Pita Pit. i am a lover of Mediterranean foods, and the Falafel Salad i ordered from this restaurant still makes my stomach wheezy just to think about it. it was bland and disgusting. The hummus, too.

When ordering i asked if there will be tahini sauce on the salad. The guy did not know what tahini sauce is. He said “yea, and tzatziki sauce.” The salad was dry. No tahini sauce.

Who smashes up falafel??? The fact that he used his dirty gloves to do it, too, is just absolutely disgusting, selfish, and lazy. i will never go to Pita Pit again.

Showed up at opening. Workers were in there but doors were locked. Worker came out and said they aren’t serving anyone because they had a catering order to be done in 1 hour 15 minutes. They wouldn’t make one pita for us even though their open sign was on and their hours were within open time.
Drove down there for a Pita. Out of our way. Will not return.

I have a gift certificate for Pita pit went to use it for one pita ($12) and at the time of check out they informed me that I would either have to redeem the full $25 amount and lose out on the remaining money or buy two pitas to use up the full amount. This is was not disclosed when purchasing the gift certificate, I would not have ordered nor would’ve gotten this gift certificate if I would’ve known the full certificate had to be redeemed in one go very flawed System and they were not willing to work with me on it. Severely disappointed considering the size of the pita it definitely was not worth $12.

I’m from Oregon and our Pita Pit closed and so I was really wanting one. I always get the Chicken Ceasar and it did not disappoint. BUT they’re so small! You used to get a huge one for like $10. Now they’re like $16 and like a little burrito. That was pretty disappointing but still delicious
