First time here I drive by it all the time. Had to stop in and give it a try.
They have a good coffee selection and food menu. Some pretty unique crepes too. And a lot of pastries as well and other to pick from.
I ended up getting a creme brulee latte and a Nutella crepe with banana and strawberries. It was really good service was quick. And the coffee was good too.
Pretty nice atmosphere too not too loud plenty of places to sit I went around lunch time I’m sure if it gets busy it might be hard to find a spot.
But it seemed roomy enough.
If you’re into supporting local business and like something kind of unique definitely check it out!

VERY busy when I arrived which is fine, I understand that the food industry can be pretty busy at times. I placed my order at about 11:40and didn’t get my food until 12:00PM, the problem is a couple came on 5-10 minutes after me and placed their order but they got their food before I did. As I was watching my food be made, I didn’t feel it was the most sanitary. They have some sort of cutting board table but it was full so they set it on top of some stainless steel appliance— no plate, paper towel, NOTHING- just my sandwich on top of some silver box. When my food was handed to me, it was a mess and they didn’t really attempt to clean it up prior. This was my first time visiting and probably my last.

Also, note that when you order a sandwich that it’s not really a sandwich. They lay the bread down and stack it like avocado toast, it’s not an actual sandwich where you lay the bread down then the fillings then the other piece of bread. It was a mess to eat and I barely got to eat it.

This place is pricey too!! $16 for a “sandwich” and side that I didn’t even want. All I wanted was the sandwich but if you don’t get a side, it’s the same amount of money.

Shares a common area with a bank. Nice plants and high ceilings. It was clean. Seating is limited. Got a seasonal espresso drink and the syrup tasted extremely artificial to the point it ruined the drink and I couldn’t finish it. The pastries were good and reminded me of Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours.

Nice place for breakfast or a cozy coffee break. The atmosphere is lovely and most of the food tasted great. The only downside was the tomato soup — it was served cold and didn’t taste good to us. They also forgot one of our orders, and when we asked about it, they brought the soup but forgot the spoon. Overall, though, the experience was pleasant, and we’d still come back for the rest of the menu!

Made a delivery to the location and was offered a drink. The place smells absolutely delightful. Not only did I receive this really well made vanilla iced latte, I also received this outstanding cinnamon roll. I don’t normally eat cinnamon rolls but seriously they need a sign highlighting this. It was really good and I will be back. You have made a customer out of me!

This place had ups and downs the croissants were good only down fall the can’t be warmed up if has filling. Unfortunately I was unable to try the baked sandwich’s due to allergies cross contamination. Based on others order and input it was a 7/10

Chicken pesto: 7/10 sandwich was needed more sauce overall was okay bread was very good

Chocolate peanut butter croissant: 7/10 was good very flavorful wish it was warmed up. If your into filling croissants that are cold this is your style.

Strawberries n pineapple smoothie
7/10

I went to Bean Co with a friend for a coffee date. She got the chipotle chicken crepe and I got the triple berry crepe. Both crepes were absolutely fantastic! Very large portions with tons of filling. The Cinnamon roll latte and Campfire Latte were also delicious. It doesn’t show on their menu, but yes they do have milk alternatives. So, I was able to get almond milk in my latte! The ladies behind the counter were personable and nice. I brought my daughter home a caramel almond croissant. Delicious! I also brought her home a Berry Danish and it was terrible. Unfortunately it was not cooked all the way and there was an entire layer or stretchy raw dough in the middle. It also had a very unpleasant smell. We had to throw it away. Bummed about the Danish, but the Crepes were fantastic.

Today I ventured to #maplegrovemn to meet a good friend for coffee. She’s just as much of a coffee enthusiast as I am and we were both excited to try this place for the first time.
I had seen a tiktok video of this place and knew it was a place that I would enjoy.

First off, the pastries. Every single one of them looked absolutely scrumptious. I asked if they are made in house, and they are!

They almost look too beautiful to eat.

I chose an oatmeal bowl, and my friend had a crepe. We both had iced lattes, which is my typical coffee of choice.

This place gets BUSY. When we arrived a little before 9am, there were people sitting bit still plenty of seating to choose from. About 40 minutes after there wasn’t an empty seat in the lobby and people were standing waiting for tables to open up.
There is a nice patio area that will be nice to enjoy once the weather warms up. We both agreed that we’d like to come back!

I want to give a huge shout-out to Tahani (pretty positive this is the spelling, if not, I’m sorry). My first interaction with her was earlier this year during a late walk-in. Even though the shop was busy, she noticed me right away and came straight to the register to ask how she could help. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to see her during every visit.

Tahani is genuinely one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Quality food is important, but top-tier service truly completes the experience. She delivers that every single time. She is always smiling, kind, and incredibly patient. Even when I wasn’t sure what I wanted, she took the time to explain options and made me feel welcomed and cared for.

Customers often leave reviews when experiences are either bad or exceptional. This review is for both the consistently great quality of the food and Tahani’s outstanding service. She is the perfect face for Bean Co., and they are truly blessed to have her.

We visited Bean Co. Maple Grove a few months after they opened last year, and I immediately fell in love with the pistachio croissant and the matcha strawberry drink. Although I live about 35 minutes away, I find myself coming back because the experience is always worth it.
