My company has a different arrangement here. We bring in an empty drop it take out a loaded. Every time I’ve been here has always been a pleasant visit. If I’ve had any questions there’s always been someone to talk to. They have also been very helpful. On another note. Please please please, try not to drop the landing gear so far down. Picking up a trailer today. Yes I’m a bit older at 62. Not ancient but my youthful days are long ago. Four breaks to stop cranking on granny gear. It was 4 inches above my fifth wheel platform. A 40,000 pound trailer not dropped. Evenly takes a long time for me to crank down. Been at it for 25 minutes. The trailers are dropped in the landing gear does not sit straight beneath the channel that it goes back up into. As you crank it back up that landing pad is cockeyed towards the back and so even on the granny gear it makes it extremely difficult to crank that thing down onto the fifth wheel platform. Been here twice. First time was a 4 hour load time, second time was much faster, like 75 minute to get loaded. They have a strict no dogs policy, I was yelled at for walking my dog in the entrance area before entering the gate.

When you first roll up you’ll notice there are two guard shacks you go to the one on the right it’s a guard check and a scale at the same time. My appointment is 8:00 a.m. this morning I came last night to see if I could load early and they gave me a phone number I’ve called it about 15 times over the last 12 hours and nobody answers. I arrived again at 6:00 a.m. there’s nobody in the guard house so I’m parked in the staging area just outside. They did however tell me last night that I could park here in staging overnight which is awesome a lot of places don’t do that. I opted to go over to Love’s that’s about 8 mi away. Security guard shows up at 7:00. She had me park in front of the yellow dumpster to clean out my trailer and wait for somebody else to come get me. My trailer was clean already but I parked there to wait for a safety meeting to complete. In a door by 7:40. Was very easy to stay under 5 miles an hour, doors are very close-by… I was surprised. However I think they only use one door so the truck behind me had to literally wait till I was done loading so that may have extended their wait time. I was lucky because I was here first. I was done in less than an hour. I was about 43,000 lb or 78,000 total no big deal. Apparently I was carrying potato granules that did not need a refer. They lost one star because of that phone number that goes to nowhere– That was a perfect waste of my personal time.

My son was robbed of an electric scooter in the parking lot by the same trailers that collect the cargo. The company never checked the cameras to find out which trailer stole the scooter.

Forget about calling the after-hours phone number to check on a load, for no one answers. Load pick up time is questionable and it seems as if the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, as to guarshack times.

Great staff, very nice facility to make moves with a 53 footer to pull into docks. The customer service here is great and they will have you loaded and out in no time.
