This place was great!! Shout out to Destiny!!❤️ She was friendly and helpful. We asked about an item that my son had never tried before. She asked the manager if we could try it and they allowed us. The place was very busy but we were treated like we were the only ones there. The shrimp was huge and cooked perfect. The crab was meaty and tender. I loved the mushrooms added to my boil!! I read some of the comments before hand… Look, if you don’t like an item speak to your server. They are there to make your meal enjoyable. My family had no issues with our time there. We will be back!!!

My new favorite restaurant. Chill atmosphere with a cute charm. Seafood boils are my Jam. However there shrimp are like prawns they are so big!!! Prices are fair make value as far as seafood goes. So 2 pounds of beautiful shrimp potato’s and corn on the cob all for around 50.00 such an amazing hidden gem in Weatherford. I come through once a month and you better believe I will be stopping. Also the waitress was super sweet. My granddaughter and I duck jeeps. We had just ducked her Jeep. She came running out just to hand my granddaughter a duck!!! (A Jeep thing) great experience always

Ordered the ragin Cajun boil and a cup of etoufee. My first sign was the nasty old cup my water came in. I thought she handed me a watered down tea at first. New plastic coke glasses can’t be that expensive. The etoufee was yellow and tasted like it came out of a can. I ordered the boil mild but it was almost too spicy to eat. The andouille sausage was so gross. I couldn’t figure out if I was tasting freezer burn or just overcooked so bad. It made the whole boil taste weird. Shrimp was the only thing I could really enjoy. Crab legs were overcooked and I had to fight to get them out of the shell. I told the server about the sausage and she just said sorry and carried on. $72 for an overcooked, funky tasting boil is kinda crazy. My bill came out to $90 (I added an egg and a side of garlic butter) and I was wholeheartedly going to still tip the server 20%, it wasn’t her fault… but she got snippy with me right as I got the pen in my hand.

I’m going to start with the atmosphere. It is exactly what you should expect for a place called The Boiling Cajun. Old hole in the wall building that looks like it has been built onto 8 times. Paper covered tables and sword fish on the walls. The service is also exactly what you should expect also. When you walk in they holler at you to sit wherever you want. Find a seat and they come right around to take your drink order. Service is great. They were very attentive and kind, checking on us frequently and keeping drinks full. The food was good a well. I had the catfish basket. The half pound basket came with one massive piece of catfish, fries and, slaw. The fish was battered with a spicy but not too hot batter. Seriously, it was massive, 12 inches long, 3/4 inch thick and 4 inches wide. It was not fishy or dirty tasting. It was flaky and clear, hot and fresh. The fries were good and the coleslaw was a touch sweet and refreshing. I tried a bite of the gumbo and rice. The gumbo was spiced well but pretty hot. I had a crawfish stuffed mushroom. Those that like a crawfish said they were very good. Not my personal favorite. I also tried the Crawfish dip. The Crawfish dip appetizer came with several slices of toast with spices on them and a bowl crawfish dip. The spice on the toast is awesome and the dip was very very good. The price was a little bit higher than we expected but I would return again. We stuck to lesser expensive items and it was over $70 for a table of 4. It will be more if you go for shrimp, crab, or higher end items.

Super busy on an early Saturday dinner service(4pm and 2 ladies working the floor) Worth every single minute we had to wait. Appetizers are HUGE portions..frog legs and stuffed mushrooms ..seasonings are on point..food and drinks are amazing and perfect for South Louisiana cuisine.I dont want you to go eat there because it will be harder for us to get a place next time but if you do go….you better tip those amazing people because they dont take a break and are working their butts off….we have no affiliation but the locals helped us pick our menu items. We had. Frog legs, stuffed mushrooms and boudain balls for appetizers and 2 ragin cajuns for dinner. 2 wines and 2 hurricanes (better than Pat O briens. ) It won’t be fast food but worth the wait. Go!! Have fun!!

First time visit impressions: The Gumbo was VERY salty but if you can look past that it had a good flavor. The shrimp & chicken were
not rubbery like some over cooked GumBo but the sausage had a rubbery texture.
We got the Alligator bites for our appetizer. It was tender but the batter was pretty bland & more breading than meat, however the Asian sweet chili sauce they served with them is one of my favorite sauces so i was ok with it.
For the main course we ordered the Jalapeno Burger. Again, first impressions, i tasted the salt in the burger rite off the bat BUT when a full bite is taken it is still a good burger and knocks the salt down to bearable for my son and i. The patty was crunchy on the outside and the Buns were Butter Toasted & that was nice. We added the Louisiana hot sauce to ours because it didn’t come with it on it.
The fries were perfectly cooked and tasty. All in all this place is definitely cozy and the food is good and i would eat here again but if you have Salt intake problems i would definitely avoid it.

DESSERT: We got the Oreo Cheesecake and it did not disappoint. The cheesecake was very delicious and looked amazing also.

Our waitress Brooke was very attentive and we never had to wait.

Because of WMM, the hubs and I decided to finally go. Should’ve went sooner!
Started off with the calamari and the sauce that was served with this was freaking amazing! I don’t know what it was but OH MY GOD!
Our waitress (I can’t remember her name but she was awesome!) recommended her fave, the pasta, and it was delish! The hubs had the gator, which was good too!
We also had the Butter Toffee Cake and mmmm… highly recommend!

The food boil was very good. Shrimp was amazing. We got the garlic and spicy mixed. Mussels, shrimp, lobsters, sausage. All of it was very good… they also have a free bowl or gumbo. Turned out to be a cup, full of poorly cooked rice and 2 spoonfuls of gumbo. Ordered the smothered fries. Fries were the BEST. The “smother” was supposed to be etouffe, but was just broth. Zero etouffe. They didn’t care. So order the fries.
Except the lobsters. Awful. Tough, overcooked, stringy. I talked to the owner and he said they were frozen. No apologies or offer to remove the very expensive inedible lobsters. The menu said “fresh catch of the day.”
The low score on atmosphere was due to his band mate and friends throwing F-Bombs in front of my wife and I and other guests and blowing vape smoke while we were eating.

Just finished dinner with my wife and I ordered the Shellfish by the Seashore, food had good flavor the only issue I had was that the clams weren’t cooked. My wife asked the waitress about them and she was unsure (she doesn’t eat seafood) the cook when asked by the waitress just shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know, they are shipped that way.” My wife and I are no stranger to seafood by any means, we lived in Houston by the water for about 5yrs along with growing up eating a lot of different seafood in my family. Clams should open if cooked correctly but 2 out of all the clams in my bowl were closed and tasted chalky. The waitress Amazing service from her, the cook not so much ( more worried about vaping in the kitchen) but if you’re cooking food you should know how it should come out correctly. Defiantly won’t be ordering that again from here and wouldn’t recommend it either. I do suggest that the cook from 10-13-24 night shift needs to learn proper cooking techniques and how different seafood is cooked!! The wife’s catfish had extra batter crispy’s on it like the basket was cleaned and dumped into the new batter, alligator bites where kinda chewy. Overall not a good dinner by any means!!
