Dining in for the first time and Jonah was a great waiter checking in on and serving us. We had beer, white sangria, a medium flying buffalo plus blue cheese, and truffle fries. The fries were hot, plenty truffle-y, and crispy. We’ll definitely dine in again and order at home too.
My husband loves all the TVs, and the atmosphere is perfect for sport watching.
When our pizza first came out, the pepperonis were burnt. We figured it wasn’t a big deal and tried it anyway, but it did not taste okay. We asked if it could be remade, and the waitress kindly said no problem. We appreciated that and waited.
While we were waiting for the second pizza, manager Tyler popped out of the kitchen multiple times. Each time, he looked in our direction but never once approached us, never asked if everything was okay, and never acknowledged what was going on.
After another 25 minutes, the second pizza finally came out — and I was livid. I genuinely couldn’t believe it looked even more burnt than the first one. The waitress even said, “To be honest, it doesn’t look any better.” She offered to remake it again but stated she couldnt promise it would look any better and also offered a free dessert.
I said no to the dessert because we didn’t want anything free — we just wanted actual food to feed my hungry toddler, who had already been waiting over 40 minutes for his favorite food. And it was especially frustrating because we’ve ordered this exact same pizza from this same location before, and it has never come out charred like that.
What made the situation even worse was how it was handled. When we asked for the first pizza to be remade, Tyler came out of the kitchen, looked directly toward our table, and then turned right back around without acknowledging us at all. Even after we asked to speak with him, he still took his time coming out. Not once did he approach us on his own during any of the moments he popped out of the kitchen.
The waitress mentioned something about the pepperonis being the reason they were charred, but that didn’t explain why we were basically served the same burnt pizza twice — or why the manager avoided us instead of addressing the issue immediately.
To be clear: we did NOT want anything free. We just wanted our food made correctly so we could feed our child. The way this was handled was completely unacceptable.
My husband stayed behind to speak with the manager, Tyler Claar, whose only excuse was that he had a banquet going on. Yet he clearly had time to pop out of the kitchen several times earlier — he just chose not to speak to us. He printed out some Mother’s Day certificate, but that doesn’t fix the experience or the way we were treated.
We won’t be returning to this location anytime soon, if at all.
patriots vs broncos
Decided to come to BP with the family to watch the game. Our server was by far the best and most amazing. He had the most amazing attitude thus far out of any server we’ve had in Yuma. He never forgot about us he always stopped by and checked if we were good or needed anything else. So if you ever come and check out Bostons Pizzas ask for PATT he is the BEST!!!!!!
Update: 8/28 Boston’s Corporate replied to this review, saying they were “escalating” the issue, and to email them so they could make it right. It has been 48 hours since I emailed, with NO response.
Our waitress (Alissa O) was terribly un-attentive. There were only two other tables dining when we arrived at 8pm on Sunday August 17th. Took 20 minutes for her to ask us for our beverage order. Ten more minutes elapsed before drinks were brought to the table. We ordered a pizza and salad with honey mustard dressing.
The pizza arrived in about 20 minutes. It was awful! The crust had no flavor, and we suspect it is frozen dough from Sysco. There was barely one slice of pepperoni on each piece. The uncooked dough in the middle of the pizza made everything but the very outside edge inedible. (See photos). We wanted to tell our waitress, but she was nowhere to be found. Finally saw her, told her we thought the pizza was raw in the middle, with no response from her, just a blank stare. So we asked about the salad (that should have been brought prior to the pizza). She apologized, and said she’d go get one right then.
Ten minutes later she brings a CESAR salad, and says “I made you a cesar, and you won’t be charged for the salad.” And walked away…disappearing once again.
My husband and I just stared at each other in disbelief.
Neither one of us really care for Cesar, but the pizza was already a flop, so we tried it. It was swimming in dressing. I guess Boston’s doesn’t know how a Cesar salad should be. The lettuce was very wilted, and brown in many spots. We took only one bite each, that was enough to know we won’t ever be back. See my photos of RAW dough and disgusting salad. I cannot recommend Boston’s service or food.
