Went there for the very first time on Saturday night because of a Karaoke competition….I have not been out in a while so i decided to go for it…..alone….and as predicted, it was a “win by audience vote” which of course means the more folks u BRING the better ur chances are of winning….which makes total sense because it’s good for the business and their sales akd the $250 u wanna win. There was a $5 cover and a $10 fee for contestants, which was good for the owner because he didn’t have to really come out of pocket for the prize…….The competition was amazing. Everyone did an amazing job, everyone was super friendly, and even tho i was alone, i had support from ppl i didn’t even know. Maybe if they have a panel judging, I’ll go back, but overall, a nice watering hole ❤️

I had ice cold ywengling, loaded nachos and homemade chips and A/C was so cold your beer stayed cold while you drank it. The food was so delicious I went 2 days in a row and ordered the same thing and was delicious both days . The staff was super friendly and treated me like I was a regular. We went here around 10 PM on a Friday night. As soon as we got out of the car, we noticed a few signs, but one really stood out. It said “No Club Colors”, but at first glance, it looked like it just said “No Colors.”
I noticed it first and stopped to really read it. Then my husband saw it too and started laughing—we both thought the same thing at first glance.
We were greeted outside by three gentlemen, and everyone seemed friendly. But as we walked up, we were hit with a strong amount of smoke in the air. Because of that, we decided not to stay.
Still, the vibe felt welcoming, and if it weren’t for the smoke, I think we would’ve had a great time

Many (most?) of the customers smoke cigarettes, so the bar smells like my mom’s old VW. Everyone at the joint seemed to know each other. Bartender was nice, attentive. Two customers had monkeys – I cannot prove it was just an incredible coincidence. Good music on the jukebox – wide variety of tunes. Ridiculously inexpensive food and drinks. A great local watering hole find.

I’m not one to just go out of my way to talk down because I try to be optimistic and understanding. I’ve worked and drove all day, coming to visit the area for the weekend out of Charlotte and I would’ve loved to eat somewhere local rather than just an everyday chain restaurant. I sat and waited for several moments to not even get the bare minimum aside from a food lion water bottle. Never given a menu, or was followed up on.

Had a great time hanging out here. It was close to the airport and much cheaper than spending time in the airport bars. Plenty of games and options for entertainment.

A little off putting when I first walked in. Definitely a water hole for local. Took a little bit for the bartender to notice me. Only because you can they have fun joking around with each other. But service was good, the atmosphere was calm and friendly. The ower was cool. I will definitely be back.

Would not recommend. Not very friendly unless your a regular. Serve time varies if they like you or not. There’s only a few good and friendly bartenders. The owner gets wasted and doesn’t care what he says. Racist and very dirty. Roaches and mice running around with occasional raccoon in the back. No sanitary station or procedures for food prep kitchen cleaning or dish cleaning.
