We smoke competition premium meats for up to 20 hours using all local Ohio wood, guaranteeing quality and flavor. We also make all of our side dishes, BBQ/Hot sauces and rubs in our kitchen daily. Which means every aspect of our flavor is authentic and our own. We offer a great lunch & dinner menu every Tuesday through Saturday, but we’d love to cater your next event. Best BBQ I have had since leaving Mississippi!! Great flavor, there are savory sauces as well as some with a hint of sweet. Sides are kickin and the cornbread is delicious!! Service was helpful with making decisions and so friendly!!

So I have been wanting to go here for some time. The staff is incredible, super nice and helpful A++++++. When you go you have a very large amount of seating outside and inside a considerable amount plus a full bar. I had the pulled pork, smoked sausage, baked beans and cheesy potatoes. Everything was scrumdiddlyumptious. After eating a gentleman who was doing the smoking showed me the smoker and some briskets. One of the best restaurant visits. If you live within an hour from here and closer there is no reason you should not try this place.

Let’s just start with the pork belly — glazed in some kind of deliciousness I honestly haven’t found anywhere else. It’s packed with flavor and cooked perfectly every time. Their cornbread is also amazing… not quite as good as Mom’s, but it’s definitely up there, which says a lot.
Great food, big flavor, and a place that’s easy to keep coming back to when you’re craving good comfort food done right. If you haven’t tried Road Hog Willie’s yet, it’s absolutely worth the stop.

Great, hidden gem. I’ve lived in Texas & North Carolina, and this place holds its own. It’s better than City Barbecue in Columbus.
I loved the brisket, wife loved the pulled pork, we loved all the sides (excellent coleslaw, excellent cheesy shredded potatoes, very good baked beans). The smoked kielbasa was great.
Service was great, too.

The pulled pork sandwich was very good So were the barbecue beans. Beer Wine and mixed drinks available. Large menu of bbq, sides and specialties. You order at counter and food is brought to your table.

I’ve lived in Mount Vernon a few years now and just found this gem. The service, wonderful. Atmosphere clean. The sauce was incredible! I’ll be buying some for sure. The meat was perfect— not fatty and not dry. I got the chicken, brisket, mac, beans and banana pudding. Every single thing I ate was scrumptious. I took it to go. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I spent much of my life living in Texas and know good BBQ when I see it. Just walking in and smelling the scents, I knew it was going to be good. We have found a new regular place.

Great smoked and grilled meats! Great for catering… honestly I think I’ve had catering more than anything… but my most favorite thing is served on Thursdays…. and it’s the best REUBEN I’ve ever had!!! They use Sliced roast instead of deli style meat. it’s amazing!!!

Amazing bbq! This was my first time here and I got the cornbread sundae with pulled pork. I loved the different flavors & textures together. The bbq sauces were so good and I really loved the southern peach sauce. Also, the staff here are so friendly!!

Tried this little gem today after years of living in apple valley. Ohhh my gosh it was sooooo good. The brisket was the perfect mixture of moist and flavor with still being cooked to perfection. The cornbread and sides were delicious. I can’t wait to go back!

Came here the other day right before I left for a TN trip, having been craving some good BBQ, but partial to the true southern recipes, it’s not often you’ll find that, north of the Mason-Dixon line.
Who would have thought I’d find it in my own back yard? Lots of recommendations and it took me awhile to leap, but, holy smokes.
I’ve been to some of the top notch BBQ restaurants in the South, and, Road Hog Willys will match any of them with their food!
The decor is nice, inviting, and spacious. I enjoyed the inside, a ton. It was a fair temperature, and not super crowded. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, where I could just relax and eat some awesome BBQ.
The prices are beyond reasonable, and, you can order for carry out and in larger portions.
I figure I’ll visit here frequent in the future, for myself, and to show others who are visiting a great BBQ spot.
