The place is very small, with a dated interior that is often cluttered and dirty, but they do have decent food and good portions at a reasonable price. In my opinion it’s a good place to get takeout but it’s ran very inefficiently. We would probably order more often from there, but since there’s no call ahead and no way to order in advance, and no type of delivery service it’s just not worth the wait on a workday. Sometimes the line is out the door just to make an order then you have to wait for the order, and since it’s so small inside the restaurant you usually have to go outside and wait or sit in your car and keep checking back. They will certainly not take 30 seconds to walk out and tell you it’s ready, lol.
Because of the area that it is in, none of the females and some of the males will not venture down there to wait in line to place an order for 18 plus employees. We have tried to order lunch there before and it’s the same experience.
If they would simply ANSWER the phone and take advanced orders they would certainly get our business once a week and others Iam certain. Regardless, they have a thriving business ran by 2 people it seems, but my pain is just not worth the wait when there’s so many other good places in town.

This was my first time eating here! I was dying to have grits at a 12:08pm lol. Service was great! The only reason I gave 3 stars is because again I really just wanted the grits and they were lumpy 🙁 There were a lot of grit balls. Eggs were good, bacon was good, sausage tasted a little old, and I’m not used to the type of cheese that was used. But, there was a jelly sandwich and Omg it was amazing! I ordered my brother a burger and it looked pretty good. Next time I’ll order lunch just to try! Happy I found this place!

Went on 9/30/25 for the first time. I ordered Bacon, Sausage, & grits. I didn’t check my food until I got to work. No bacon & they added eggs. I would try this place again but check my food first. Cheap food

I’m tired of these random closings they don’t put online just on the door. This the second time I’ve wasted gas and miles coming here for no reason!

Great food at an amazing price. Excellent breakfast spot to grab and go on the way to work. The outside and location may scare you away, but great food and people.

What do you do when you can’t get a last minute brunch reservation anywhere in the CSRA? You go to Toasty, of course. They are to-go only so we enjoyed our breakfast in the parking lot in the back of the van. Our Valentine’s Day lunch came in at just under $14, and we were both stuffed. It doesn’t always have to be a fancy, expensive meal – you just need good food and even better company. #supportlocal #vanlife
Toasty is located at 2808 Wheeler rd and they also have a very tasty very inexpensive lunch menu as well.
