We like Margaritaville, but this time we were not thrilled with the food. We came here as a group of seven. I posted pictures of some of the food items we ordered. We had several issues. 1. The fish sandwich did not end up having any tartar sauce on it. It was big and delicious though! 2. My son ordered chicken strips and they were overcooked and dry so he barely ate any of them. 3. My wife ordered the chicken tinga bowl, and in the night she got sick. When we looked at the leftovers next morning we actually saw that part of her chicken was raw. . That explained why she got sick and no one else did. I had ordered the fish and chips, they came out hot and were good. The service, was good our server was attentive and friendly. The environment is always chill and good music. The great part is they do take reservations so sometimes it gets very busy it’s best to call and make a reservation. Besides the food issues we had it was good, but people come here for the food so three items out of seven had issues not great!

Margaritaville at The Island is a fun, lively spot with a great atmosphere and beautiful views. The open-air setting really adds to the island vibe, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The food is flavorful, the drinks are refreshing, and the service is friendly and attentive. There’s plenty of seating, live music at times, and something for everyone to enjoy. A great stop whether you’re visiting with family or just looking to unwind and soak in the atmosphere.

Service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without hovering. The seafood was perfectly seasoned, and served hot and fast. The steak was packed with flavor and the spices hit just right.

After spending the day at The Island in Pigeon Forge, we decided to grab a bite at Margaritaville before leaving. The host was very polite, and since it was early in the day during the week, it wasn’t busy at all—we were seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly.
Unfortunately, my meal fell short of expectations. I ordered the Jerk Salmon (jerk-glazed, sautéed spinach, basmati rice) and asked to swap the spinach for another side, only to be told it was actually a garnish, not a side. That seemed a bit odd to me, but I decided to go without the veggie. The salmon itself was overcooked and the glaze seemed to be missing—probably the driest salmon I’ve had in a while.
On the other hand, my friend’s Grilled Chicken Sandwich was good, and the overall service was pleasant. I’d be willing to give Margaritaville another try in the future and hope the kitchen hits the mark next time.

It’s the kind of place you go once to experience but it’s not going to become a favorite. The food was good and proportions decent but nothing spectacular and it’s on the pricey side, definitely feels like you’re paying more for the atmosphere than the food itself. I will say though that the carnival alcoholic drink I got was phenomenal! We bought one group photo from the photographer but only because it felt very pushy and like we were super pressured to even after saying no thanks at first. Overall, still pretty nice and the building is very unique inside and out, liked it enough to buy a souvenir in the gift shop.

We went to Margaritaville yesterday, and from the very beginning, the experience was extremely disappointing. Our server was quite rude — we got our drinks but no straws, and it took over 15 minutes to get them because she simply never came back to the table.
I ordered the Tinga Plate, but they didn’t even bring me a fork until about 20 minutes later, by which time the food was completely cold. The same happened with my friends’ meals — all of them arrived cold and flavorless.
On top of that, I ordered a burger that never arrived, yet it was already charged on the bill. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she got upset and told me it was “almost ready” and asked if I wanted it to go. Honestly, after waiting that long, the last thing I wanted was to wait even more or eat it out of a box.
I expected a lot more from a restaurant with that name. The food was plain and tasteless, and the service was really poor.
The only good thing was the souvenir shop — nice items but quite overpriced.
I definitely wouldn’t come back.

This was a totally fun experience! Our waiter was so funny. The food was absolutely delicious and so were the cocktails. You feel like you are in the tropics at this restaurant.

Great server. Great Atmosphere. Love the look, detail and vibe of the restaurant. I wish the menu had more grilled options. More Fish options or even an oyster bar would be nice. Chicken egg rolls were awesome. Food took along time for the place not to be very busy. Love the drink menu.
