Amazing food and amazing service. Ordered the goat mix plate and everything was delicious. Goat was fall apart tender, chicken was juicy and packed with flavor.

If you live in kent definitely check them out, all Somali restaurants are mostly in SeaTac area so I was surprisingly shocked that there was one closer to home & the food is even better!

I have missed Somali food since I moved from Seattle. This place has wonderful tasting food. The sambusa is on point. Wonderful flavor a little kick to it but not too much.
The gentleman taking the orders is very friendly and personable.
We tried this spot about 2 months ago
and have been there about 5 times now.

Stopped by this place late on a random Tuesday. Asked the guy what to get and he hooked it up. Everything was awesome. The chicken, the goat, the rice, the veggies. We asked for spicy and he put in some super good hot sauce. They gave us a spiced tea while we waited. I’ve never had Somali food before but I’ll be back.

So I was really hoping for some great Somali/Ethiopian food. I asked about a couple of dishes they didn’t really seem to have much advice to offer and ended up with a plate of rice chicken and vegetables. Nothing great was very dry should’ve had a nice authentic sauce with it or something. I wasn’t immediately offered water or anything I asked for it. They give you a complementary tea which I thought was really good. The vibe inside the place certainly felt like nobody knew what they were doing, they were surprised to see me walk in there pretty much. Honestly it’s felt like a front. I’m not sure if they’re having an off night or what but I can’t recommend based on my experience.

We are so excited and happy to have such an amazing restaurant on DoorDash delivery. Mohamed and his entire team at Medina cafe have been outstanding with their food quality and services. I will definitely give this amazing restaurant 10/10. The menu is endless option and the food is cooked perfectly and seasoned to the T.

1st time visitor. Got the beef with rice. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!!! This cafe was recommended by the girls at the Nail Spa next door. I am so looking forward to eating here again soon.

I drove up from Auburn for some injera but found the restaurant closed. 🙁 I went there on a Saturday around 7:30 pm even though Google says it’s open until 9 pm. There wasn’t a sign or anything to update its closure.
