We had their Valentine’s dinner for two and it was just awesome. Dinner was so delicious I forgot to stop for I picture. My husband had clam chowder I had salad appetizer calamari again just perfect. Filet and lobster was cooked with perfection. Served with mashed potatoes and asparagus.

They have a new (ish) owner and chef and their food is so good! We’ve been eating there at least 2-3x a month since last summer and haven’t had even the smallest complaint. During the summer we golf then grab food, love it! Their breakfast is really good too!

We had a wonderful breakfast, I had the chicken fried bene while my husband had the chicken fried steak. Both dishes were delicious and beautifully prepared. I really enjoyed our waitress/bartender she was kind and great at her job. We will definitely be returning!

After a long and successful day of Groundwork Mastery at the ranch, Ray and I discovered we were out of the special grain that 4 of our minis need. In the process of buying grain I decided I was too tired to make dinner.
We have eaten at Tahoma Valley before but not since it was sold. Facebook reviews said it was better than before. We never had a bad meal there.
We were greeted as we walked inside and we chose our table. Tables and chairs had been replaced, which was nice. The old tables were pretty unbalanced so when we went there to eat, we searched for the table that moved the least.
Menus were brought immediately, along with water. There were a few new menu items so I had an adult beverage while deciding what to order. I decided on the Cajun burger with tater tots. Ray ordered the Philly, also with tots.
Our meals were prepared to order and arrived hot to our table. I like spicy food and hot is usually slightly above mild. This burger was almost TOO hot with the large jalapeño and the super spicy mayonnaise. It had good flavor.
Ray thought his Philly was good but a little on the bland side and was rather dry. He opted to not request mayonnaise.
My coffee nudge was not very hot. I suggested to our server that next time the cup be preheated so the drink came to the table hot. I learned that trick when I was a bartender. That was a life from a long time ago.
Our meals did not disappoint and there was enough to them that we had enough to take home for another meal. We will definitely be back.

They have new ownership which has done a good job sprucing up the place. The food also seems to be of a higher quality. The new staff is friendly and attentive to customers. I dont golf, but do like to stop in for a bite every once in a while.

My 2 girlfriends and I stopped in for an early dinner on Jazz fest weekend, 2 of us had the Veggie pesto fettuccine with shrimp added and it was FANTASTIC!. Good price point too at $18 + $6 added for shrimp. . total $24.I don’t remember what the other dinner was but she liked her choice.I like the new menu with the new owners, good choices and good service. Try the Pessimistic wine, you won’t be disappointed.

I had the great honor of eating at the Newly Renovated Tahoma Bar And Grill. I’ve been here before for breakfast which there Omelet I had was fantastic. So I decided to eat a late afternoon lunch . I don’t drink Alcohol so as I pulled up a seat at the bar which the chairs are very comfortable Bree the Bartender ask what I would like I asked if she could make me a non alcohol drink she came up with a great drink a Virgin Coconut Mojito as she smashed fresh mint leaves she is a pro for sure that Virgin Coconut Mojito was delicious I ordered a second one that’s how good it was . I heard of there Buffalo wings from my friends Roger and Hunter who golf here every week. So I ordered a full order of Buffalo wings which when I received my order I was surprised at the size almost 12 wings which I say are chicken drum sticks you can smell the hot sauce my mouth watered and I dug right in Bree gave me enough paper napkins and some wet wipes and boy I needed them. The portion was so big I shared with my friend Roger and had to take the rest home. You truly get your moneys worth . The prices for food and drink are very reasonable. If your looking for great food, great service, great atmosphere Tahoma Bar and Grill is you go to place. Desi and Bree would love to serve you and make your drinks . If you live in around Yelm. Mckenna, Rainier, Tenino and Yes of course Yelm I would choose this place over any and all other Restaurants in and around Yelm.

I wanted a bloody mary when passing thru Yelm, and I wasn’t disappointed. Brenda made it perfectly, and I loved Tasha the other server, both so friendly. Right off the golf course with sprawling views. Huge wine selection. I missed breakfast and ended up ordering off the autumn menu. Pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor and portion sizes of the poutine and the French dip, we shared and had leftover. I even sprung for the cannolis and I’m not a dessert person and I would say they were the best ever! It was so good I dont have pics!

Atmosphere was clean and modern. Lovely view of golf course. My dinner was spot on! I had blackened chicken. The seasonal veggies were brussel sprouts, they melted on my tongue! So so good. Chicken was tasty. Garlic Potatoes were as expected

Excellent Bloody Mary. Not spicy at all, but great flavor! Food was fresh and portions were large. Chicken fried steak was tender and good flavor. Biscuits and gravy had excellent flavor/texture. Eggs were perfectly cooked, while the bacon was crispy but not burnt. This is a hidden gem in Yelm. Next time we’re in town this will be our go to place for good food, service and atmosphere.
