This was such a hidden gem when I stayed in Hatteras! I have been having pregnancy cravings for the most perfect chicken biscuit with melted cheese and over easy egg and this place made my dreams come true & cravings were more than satisfied. I just wish I had a place like this back at home. Hands down the best homemade biscuit I’ve had – this place won’t disappoint! Plus staff is incredibly sweet and relaxing ambiance!

We stopped here while on vacation in NC, the cashier was on FaceTime while we ordered and the up charge when you pay with card was never mentioned. I paid almost $15 for a sub with old soggy brown lettuce and old soggy pickles. Very disappointing.

The place is pretty cool right next to the creek behind it where you can just relax with your puppy and chill. The food is ok, the Italian sandwich was drowned in oil, tasted good though, next time just have to ask for little oil. The Cuban panini was decent, the mustard on it is really good! Overall, a decent place to stop for a quick bite!

On our way out of OBX, we stopped and grabbed breakfast here. Very cute little place with a few tables and chairs in the inside and then a bunch of picnic tables outside. They had a nice young lady taking orders and then it seemed to be the owner in the back work on her tail off with a lot of call in orders. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and some hash browns and then I got the biscuits and gravy. Everyone really enjoyed their meal, except me and fortunately. I wasn’t a big fan of the sausage and gravy I thought it was overwhelmingly peppery but that was just my taste. We would definitely come back again especially maybe grabbing lunch or dinner looks like they have a great selection also a little cooler with macaroni and potato salad and side.

Great food! The chicken caesar blt wrap with fried chicken has an awesome ratio of tasty ingredients, and the accompanying fries are great as well. We also really enjoyed the fried pickles we started with!

We stopped by this morning for the first time. We were first greeted by two lovely ladies. They were super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and so were the warm chocolate chip cookies. With so many great food options, we couldn’t make up our minds about what to order. They were extremely kind and generous that they also gave us an extra sandwich on the house. The restaurant was really clean and so was the bathroom (which is a rare find anymore). I cant say enough great things about this place definitely going back again!!! Keep up the great work! 🙂

Awesome eats! Good prices! I got the Italian stallion which was delicious. You can also opt for any kind of cold or hot sandwich. The coleslaw in the potato salad were excellent. Solid spot. Good location near ramp 49. Call in an order, pick up some sandwiches and head to the beach! I almost forgot! The fried pickles were killer!

If you order make sure they really made what you asked for. We ordered here then they missed our son’s order, we had to reorder it only for them to take forever to make a grilled cheese poor kid had to watch his whole family eat and when everyone was done when he finally got his food. Then when we got the sandwich the cheese was still cold except on the edges of the sandwich. If that wasn’t enough the cook decided she was going to be rude and give me attitude when I complained about what had happened. Absolutely obsurd. You don’t treat customers like that and shouldn’t be in business if you do. Also they never mentioned an upcharge for paying with a Card to me at all. Apparently there is one. We are never going back here. Awful experience.
The owner falsified the information below is not what happened. She decided to state absolutely appalling comments about me and my family. This is not what happened. She knows it. My wife is the one who ordered the sandwich for my son. I stood right there and heard her say it. Her employee Recalled us ordering the sandwich. And apologized for not having it on the order. The fact that she would go to length to try to defend her behavior is appalling, and I will never visit this place of business again. Especially when someone tries to publicly shame, a customer they were rude too. Nothing I have posted as a lie everything the owner has posted his false. Think about it who goes on and posts a negative review of something that didn’t happen. Also just as proof look back in the reviews of the business and you will see more similarities to my intial review and her nasty responses.

Updated Review: we returned this year to find that things have changed here. Our sandwiches were not very good and the ice cream sandwiches that we loved in the past barely had any ice cream on them. This was a very disappointing visit.
We return here every time we come to the Outer Banks despite it being almost 100 miles from where we stay. We always plan to sight see in the area and have lunch here. Their sandwiches are great and the atmosphere is pleasant.
My favorite is the ice cream sandwich and build your own sub.
