I got the vegetarian tamales. They had three options: cheese & bean, cheese and pepper, and a sweet one with strawberries. I didn’t get the strawberry flavor but the other two were good. The cheese & pepper was spicy and my favorite one. They were a little dry, but the meat ones may be more moist. Overall very good. We bought some in bulk and will be back!

I spent $65 for 2 dozen tamales and a cafe de holla. A little shook at the prices but here is my my over all take on the different flavors I got:
Verdes de pollo: 5/5 very delicious, tasteful, hint of spice and decent size.
Dulce (pink one): 3/5. No raisins or any kind of filling. Just the pink masa. Taste doesn’t justify the price.
^ same with the yellow sweet tamales
Rojos de raja: they were okay too. 3/5. Nothing out of this world, I enjoy the street vendors a lot more.
Frijoles con queso : 1/5. No one in my family likes them. Lacked flavor.
For the price, I would only go back for the green chicken.

Friendly, good service, and great food. My first time having pozole and I’ll definitely be back. We had the red and the green pozole. The tostados, crushed red pepper, and avocado all stepped things up a notch. I could’ve used a bit more heat, but delicious nonetheless.

The nice place you can sit the tamales very good I like tamal in red chicken sauce the other oxacan I don’t like much but to be the first time taste Enchiladas de moles very rich ask for more guacamole. The price just the very kind staff will certainly return for tamales.
