Arrived at 1:50am on a Monday. Ordering on the kiosk was really easy, and I liked how there were options for the sauce to be on the side. Large selection of free add ons, with paid add ons as well. Ordered the beet effect juice and it was juiced fresh after we ordered. Food was done within 10 minutes. Great taste, variety, and portion size. Loved it!

I had the fish sandwich which was perfectly spiced and a very good portion. My husband had the gyro sandwich and liked it. We tried the potato balls which were very good (a little spicy) and the falafel balls which were good too (not spicy). The white sauce was very good. My fiancée and I dined in at Gyro Hut and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. The meat was seasoned well and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and the place was clean with a chill atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

We recently had family visiting from New York, and my niece absolutely loved the food at Gyro Hut (Galleria location). She enjoyed everything—from the chicken and lamb to the chapli kebab and even the falafel. She’s usually not a fan of vegetables, but the flavors won her over completely.
She loved it so much that she even asked to take food back to New York for her family, which says a lot. The quality, taste, and overall experience were excellent.

Food was absolutely stellar! Service was great as well! I had the combo chicken and gyro plate, and even the rice was cooked perfectly. That gyro is the real deal. They also have a lot of sauces to choose from, which the food didn’t need, but it makes it enjoyably rich.
I waited maybe two minutes for my food to come out. Great atmosphere, upbeat music playing, and very clean. Will definitely go back when I’m near a location!

I came from New York to Houston and this place by far was the best food I tried there. Everything was amazing. I got chicken over rice. The rice was seasoned amazingly, chicken was cooked good but the best thing was the sauces. They have a variety and each one taste delicious, wish they had it in New York. (galleria location)

Enormous portions of excellent food at a great price! I ordered pickup and the food was fresh and ready within 15 minutes. Everything was packed perfectly including the information we provided in the notes section. The Gyro Fries Platter was piping hot and crispy with a lot of fries. Out of all the gyro spots in town, I like the aromatic rice in the Combo Rice Platter and Gyro Rice Platter the most. Gyro here is diced in cubed chunks which keeps them very moist.
The chicken is marinated well and has good flavor too. The salad portion is a little small though compared to the rest of the portions.
I’ve ordered from here at least 10 times and the food has been pretty consistently good. I would definitely order here again and would highly recommend it.

I went to Gyro Hut today for the first time after hearing so much praise, and it absolutely delivered. The highlight of my visit was the server, I didn’t catch his full name but I’m pretty sure it started with an S and he wore glasses. He was incredibly welcoming, patient, and clearly knew the menu well!
I wasn’t sure what to get, but he listened to what I liked and suggested the mixed lamb & chicken with feta. I wasn’t planning on adding feta, but he convinced me to try it and WOW… that ended up being my favorite part. The whole plate was AMAZING!
He made the entire experience comfortable and genuinely enjoyable. If every restaurant had a server like him, dining out would be a completely different experience. I’d honestly come back just to be served by him again and even if I can’t make it every week, I’ll definitely be ordering in! Gyro Hut is lucky to have him!

I had the chicken and lamb combo plate and it was delicious. Everything on it was top-notch, the salad, the rice, and the meat. I had them put both sauces on it and feta cheese, and don’t skip getting an order of pita bread because it’s just as good.
