The Chop House was fantastic! The atmosphere was so inviting, and the host and staff were super kind and helpful. The food looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Drinks were on point, and the dessert was the perfect finish. Definitely a great spot for a special night out!

We were celebrating my 6 months sober milestone and I really wanted a dry aged steak. I found this place on Google and it was only an hour away, so I was super excited to come here. We made reservations the day before without issue. Granted you could probably get better time slots if you reserve more than 24 hours in advance. We’ll do that next time, and oh boy, will there be a next time.

We were promptly seated 5 minutes before our reservation and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. She went through all the specials and soup of the day for us. Answered all our questions and even took a picture of us without having to be asked. I told her the reason we were celebrating and she showed me all the mocktails they had to offer. I went with the laCroix and Lemonaid. I love LaCroix anyway, so this was a slightly elevated way to drink it.

The husband ordered a bunch of appetizers and I ordered the dry aged ribeye, Pittsburgh style with the ceasar salad instead of the greens. I never in my life would have thought to put egg on a ceasar salad. But it was a perfect combination. The cesar dressing was amazing as well. Very clearly made in house. I want a bottle of it. My only reason for removing a star for food was because as a steak gal, who is very passionate about dry aged steak, I was slightly disappointed with the steak itself. It wasn’t very flavorful and it needed the steak sauce to taste good. I’m a firm believer that steak shouldn’t need sauce to taste good. The sauce is very good though. It’s tangy and sweet. All at the same time. I wouldn’t get the steak again, but everything else will keep us coming back for more. I’m very excited about the menu change in a few weeks.

My husband’s food was all very good. He had the fish cakes, fried goat cheese, lobster bisque and Cajun beef tips. His only critique was the fish cakes had a topping that was very acidic. Everything else was delicious. I tried the beef tips and I wished I had order them for myself, they were AMAZING!

This experience exceeded my expectations and to make things even more amazing, our server handed me a note from the team that congratulated me on my milestone. That was so sweet. I almost cried. While I may not be rich enough to eat here weekly. We’ll definitely be back as often as possible though. Thank you ChopHouse team, for an unforgettable evening.

(Note: bring cash if you want to avoid a 3% service fee. They probably charge that to offset the merchant services fee they get charged for processing you credit/debit card)

A fantastic location for date night! The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was incredible! It was busy so we sat at the bar and the bar staff did a great job taking care of us. Highly recommend a reservation on the weekend. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the beef bourgaignon was heavenly.

I had the most wonderful time here! My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and we also celebrated a friend’s birthday. Every single thing we ordered was amazing. I recommend trying the Honeysuckle Sour to drink and the sorbet for dessert, but you can’t go wrong with whatever you get. Our server, Jasper, was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. The whole team seemed to work together well. They put candles on our dessert plates for our celebrations, it was a nice touch. I already want to come back! Thank you for making our night so special and fun!

Chop House Steakhouse: A Cut Above the Rest – Prepare to Become a “Repeat Offender”!
From the moment you step into Chop House Steakhouse in Thomasville, you know you’re in for an experience that transcends a mere meal. This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an event, a culinary journey that will leave you planning your next visit before you’ve even paid the bill.
Let’s talk about the food first, because it was, in a word, excellent. Each dish that graced our table was a testament to quality ingredients and masterful preparation. The steaks, of course, are the star of the show – perfectly cooked to order, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. But don’t sleep on the appetizers or sides; they were equally impressive, complementing the main course beautifully. Every bite was a delight, proving that Chop House truly understands the art of the steakhouse.
And then there’s the service. Oh, the service! It was nothing short of upper echelon. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about every item on the menu, and genuinely seemed to anticipate our every need. From recommendations to perfectly timed refills, the staff here operates with a level of professionalism and warmth that is rarely encountered. They truly elevate the dining experience.
Now, for the libations. The drinks were superb, crafted with care and using premium spirits. But the drink special? Let me tell you, it was ridiculous – in the absolute best possible way! An incredible value for an exceptional libation, it truly put the icing on an already phenomenal cake. It’s the kind of special that makes you wonder if you’ve stumbled upon a secret.
In short, Chop House Steakhouse isn’t just good; it’s phenomenal. The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable, and the drinks (especially the specials!) are simply fantastic. I can say with absolute certainty that I will be going back as a repeat offender. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Thomasville, do yourself a favor and visit Chop House. Just be warned: you might find yourself addicted!

The food was delicious. Two of my guest said there’s was salty; however, the host and server had it remade and my guest enjoyed. The food was well worth the price. The ambience was very nice and quiet. One guest volunteered to take a group picture of us. The server was patient, kind, answered question, made suggestions, wasn’t in a rush, and also told us about the weekly drink specials. See you guys Tuesday for the “Pink Lady!” Thank you all for making my Birthday Dinner one to remember.

What a great night. We were in town for a wedding but did not think about it being Valentine’s Day! Called and the recording said leave a message. I did but didn’t expect anyone to call back. 15 minutes later at 4 10 and they didn’t open until 5, Ryan called me back. They were booked but we’re using 4 tables for walk ins. He recommended getting there early. Got there about 4 25 and was waiting when a young lady named Rachel came out and starting seting up the tables outside. She struck up a conversation and said she would give us the first spot inside. So sweet and courteous! A little before 5 she invited us in. The experience just kept getting better from there. The service provided by Johnathon was sincere and perfect. The oysters appetizer herb butter and Rockefeller were on point and fresh. The salad with fried goat cheese was a great combination. The duck 3 ways was delicious. My wife’s aged Ribeye was exquisite. Then to top it off the creme brulee with Bailey’s. I think every server in that restaurant came by and welcomed us and just asked how we were doing. Ryan ended up being the manager and came and check on us twice. What a wonderful experience at Chophouse on the Bricks!

Beef bourguignon tender as expected. Sauce too salty and thick. Server was attentive and the atmosphere cool. Thank you for the building preservation. Not a fine dining experience, but casual is a way to go today. To be fine dining the staff would need more training on wines and approaching the customer.

In the 90s, my friends and I loved going to the farmers Market Diner. I mean, it was a highlight of our young, overworked 20 something selves lives. ( try staying awake on the way home! )
Chophouse on the Bricks, is the perfect grown up version of, that place. Dishes I most recommend:
Chophouse O rings
Duck Three Ways
Chophouse salad
And the pecan pie which is to die for.
Tuesday is 5.00 martini night.
I’m not rich and I’m dying of brain cancer. This is our special place. We love it so much, Kim. Thank you for all your hard work and hospitality. It hasn’t gone, unnoticed. ❤️

I recently visited the Chophouse on the Rick’s at 123 N Broad St, in Thomasville, GA. I have been waiting to visit this spot for a while. It was well worth the wait. I sat near the bar and was quickly waited on. My server was very good and he explained the specials of the day. I ordered the soup and old fashion specials. We then discussed the entre, I decided on the bleu cheese burger which was more than delicious. One of the top 12 in Georgia, excluding ATL, only bc I haven’t gotten there yet well worth it!
