Definitely a place where I want to hangout
Service is good overall. The servers were very nice and helpful.

Second visit highlighted that most of the menu comes from cans and mexican food from cans is still difficult to mess up and they did. Rice and beans were not edible, flavor, texture, temp, they were off in every way. Fajitas were, soggy!?! no crispiness to the vegetables at all. Bone in wings were surprisingly cooked all the way through and had are the meatier wings the most places don’t carry. Guacamole is made from frozen avocados and us 3 guacamole lovers couldn’t finish it, it had no taste.
Queso is canned. Save yourself the money and go get a can at the grocery store, might even have some flavor.
Service was slow and not sure if the sever put in what we order or whatever she felt like because the food that came out wasn’t what we ordered. The soggy fajitas didn’t come out until the other 2 people were completely done with their food. Avoid the shrimp, think microwaved and then slapped on the grill long enough to give it burn marks, extra chewy.
Draft beers cold be colder. I’ve had colder draft beers at this place under previous businesses so I know the beer could be colder. Unless it was removed, they have a dedicated 100 keg beer fridge specifically to chill the beer. Cocktails were basic, passible. We did not get a latino cocktail though so house cocktails may have been better.
The whole vibe of the place gives off millionaire trust fund baby having no idea what they’re doing and needing a place to dump their money. Too many, mediocre, trust fund baby businesses in KC.
Huge shoutout to the bartenders Jaden and Jayda — their drinks were perfectly made and beautifully presented. They were friendly, attentive, and really made the night enjoyable with their great personalities and positive vibes.
And the manager Sam was outstanding! You can tell great leadership starts at the top. Sam made sure everything was running smoothly and checked in to ensure we were satisfied. That level of customer service really stands out.
If you’re looking for great food, strong drinks, and an all-around good time, Dos Lokos is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be back!
