This place has gone downhill big time. The service is awful. The last few times I have come here the wait is a ridiculous amount of time even when you call ahead. I placed an order at 1:15 for a pickup. They told me to come at 2:15. I have been the only one sitting here for almost a hour. There are at least four employees working and no one acknowledging me. I also watched one of the employees on her phone, then directly touching the toppings without gloves on or washing her hands. Very disgusting and unsanitary. I am not sure why there has been no other customers in here the entire time I have been waiting, but the pizza is still not ready on time. If they didn’t make me pay up front, I would have definitely left and never picked it up. After an almost two hour wait for a single pizza, I received it and it is awful quality. The amount of cheese on my pizza makes it inedible. It’s dripping outside of the box. It’s completely doughy in the center and not cooked all the way. This is definitely my last time ever giving them a chance. Rather than refunding the order, they want me to drive 20 minutes back, to show them the mess up on their end. Horrible service, atmosphere, and food quality. Definitely overpriced as well. Save yourself the hassle and go to Dewey’s across the street! I also wanted to add that there was a child running around the kitchen, throwing toys in the dining area. This should not be happening in a public restaurant setting. Very disappointed!

I stopped in while shopping in downtown Kirkwood because they offered pizza by the slice. I ordered a slice of the tomato basil and it came out hot and was delicious! Huge slice, great price!

I understand that my overall review rating is a lesser value than the subcategories. As always I think this is the best slice in the city however the reason for the two stars review. Your menu says number seven 10 inch single topping pizza pop salad and beverage 13.95 when the young lady gave me my total it was almost $18 that is absolutely absurd my total should have been around $15. When I asked why she said well that’s what the computer says. You need to honor the prices that you publicly post on your menu in the restaurant

I love Racanelli’s Pizza! New York style is the best. Friendly staff, fresh, hand-tossed dough, tasty sauce, and big ol’ slices. What’s not to love? Dine-in area is pretty bare bones, but just get carryout if you’re worried about it. You should be frenquenting this place if you’re in the area!

Incredibly disappointed. I ordered a cheese pie with sundried tomatoes and Italian sausage on the whole pie and ricotta on half and this is what they gave us, a few drops of ricotta on two slices and fresh tomatoes with no sausage. And they didn’t notify us that the pizza was done I had to call after they closed to find out my order was ready.

I ordered an 18″ sausage and mushroom pizza for delivery. The crust was good, but the toppings were non existent. I could not see or taste them!! Garlic knots were good. Toasted ravioli was a bit soggy.

This is hands down the best New York style slice that I have had in my entire time here in Stl. Most legit dough sauce and cheese. Closest pizza I had to back home east coast pie.

Great pizza, great smell (something about pizza places that have a smell that makes your mouth water), only concern is cashier also makes the pizza. (Assuming innocence here) Employee wasn’t wearing gloves while making the pizza, I’m sure hand washing was done but unknown about the arms, and dough goes up to elbows.

I am from Indianapolis and I was taken to Racanelli’s in 2018 by someone that lives in St. Louis, and I had never heard of toasted ravioli, so I tried that also and they were both so good! I since have been back a few times from Indianapolis, just to get this pizza and toasted ravioli, originally I was taken to Euclid Avenue, which is no longer there, I was disappointed last year I came, I typed in the directions and headed on my way to St. Louis and when I arrived, ALL locations for Racanellis were closed, but said they were open with the hours, I was SO disappointed! But now happy to see there is one open, but def will call before I drive 2.5 hours! Hands down best I ever had tho.

Our first return since pre-pandemic days. Still an excellent no-frills pizza product, with friendly & attentive staff. But seriously, the owners need to shut down for several weeks and upgrade the indoor dining space from its 20+ year old gloom.
