Hours start daily at 3pm. 2 pool tables in the back. Good rock n roll music. High top tables in the bar area. Food is very similar to Jonathan’s; wings are different. We’ll be back

Not a lot of legit neighborhood bars like this in the DC area. Divey but in the best way. We were a little nervous about new ownership but they’ve been solid and mostly kept a similar vibe to Jonathan’s even while trying new things, though I do miss the booths in the back area. Still love the chicken Parm sub and tall frosted beer; recently tried some new dishes and they were both delicious (blackened chicken Alfredo, pictured, and beef bulgogi and rice).

This bar reminds me of home. Nice place to meet new friends. Food was unexpectedly delicious. Any time I’m in town this is the go to spot for me and my friends. Aidan was very friendly and made some great drinks!

The upgrades since it was Jonathan’s have been just what the place needed. A little decor boost, pool tables, more IPAs on tap, and a vastly better menu. Very solid neighborhood bar with great eats!

In a small strip mall about a 20 minute walk from the garage where I’m getting my brakes replaced.

Had a great experience at First Street Tavern. Veronica makes the best drinks and her service is fast and friendly. She always makes sure you are okay whether it is drinks or food. She made recommendations for the new menu, this was a nostalgic and amazing twist of sushi and spam. If you want a Cheers bar experience, this is the place.
