Great college bar with live entertainment. Visited early on a Friday afternoon was was please to see live entertainment. Plenty of drink specials and super friendly employees. Love the layout of party tables. Beer was cold and shots were flowing. Didn’t eat here but they had a lot of food specials. Any they still do the 21st birthday hats!

My neice and a friend were both roofied in this bar by an employee or someone acting as an employee, found at the wee hours of the morning unconscious in the bathroom and taken to the hospital! Also with the possibility of them being raped while unconscious! Multiple phone calls have been made to this establishment during open business hours with no one answering! DO NOT RECOMMEND this bar!!!!

Last night, I came here to watch live music. Luckily, it wasn’t too crowded, so I could enjoy the music while ordering “The Karen” for my drink. It tasted great and refreshing. I also ordered some snacks, which were delicious as well. The service was good, and overall, this place is worth the visit.

Obviously a State College staple & it is a good time, but this place stinks, is sticky & the bathrooms are beyond gross. Bartenders are great. Bouncers are rude. Food is good. Drinks are cheap.

Come on, it’s the Phyrst – gotta go 5-stars for this State College institution. So the floor might be a little sticky, and the place reminds me of a scene from Silence of the Lambs, but besides that, you just gotta love this relic. Just grab a Guinness here if nothing else.

Always great atmosphere (especially if you luck out and get a seat), fantastically cheap prices (unbelievably cheap during happy hours), draft Truly (grenadine lime is absolutely delicious), pool tables, nice bathrooms, great cover bands.
COVID 19 UPDATE: handled great, very clean, masks enforced. $1 fries offered to order with a drink. Happy Hours still in place unlike in many other places.

At my hotel they called this place Whiskey Local. Great atmosphere, fun crowd, and good bar food. Don’t go here if you’re on a diet.

Downstairs was all college kids of course. Service was terrible. Bartenders were cute but really bad at bartending. Cover charge was necessary because they are so slow at pouring beer that they’ll never be able to pay the rent. They needed twice as many bartenders as they had. Especially since none of them could pour beer and chew gum at the same time. We left.
