I’m not sure why this place is still open. The food is horrible not to mention it’s always a very long wait for your food. After calling in a pickup order they tell you 25-30 minutes it turns into at least an hour or more. The food is never what they say it is and tastes horrible. I hadn’t been here a few years but tried to give it another try because I did like it when it first opened but it had fallen off. Well I see not much has changed. You can be the judge for yourself but as you can see the lay some sugar on me sweet potato doesn’t have ounce of sugar or anything else for that matter. Never again, is the least I can say about this restaurant.

Peaches was very good. I would recommend this place is you are looking for Jamaican and soul food in the DC area.
3 stars because of a few things that are near and dear to me personally. But some people may not care. Everything was seasoned and flavored perfectly. If you don’t like spicy curry, stay away . My curry shrimp was spicy.

Oxtails- 7- I like mine to fall off the bone. I had to
Work on these a little. But great savory flavor.
Fried whitening-7- I would have given a ten. But these were not whole filets. They were broken. The sauce that was provided was a 10! .
Curry Shrimp- 10
Greens-10
Rice-5 it was cold &
Mild Flavor( but the curry sauce made up for it.
Green beans- 10 so good!!!!
Plantains-10
Garlic Mashed potatoes-10

It was my first time ordering from Peaches but not my last. I was pleased with the entire process from ordering to pick up.

The food is flavorful and plenty for two servings per meal. My sister loved her oxtails, lay some sugar sweet potatoes and cabbage.

I enjoyed the stuffed salmon with crab and shrimp, cabbage and mac and cheese.

The meals do not come with plantains as I am accustomed to having so be sure to place an order as a side if you want them. They were cooked to perfection and there’s plenty in the order to share.

Overall very pleased.

I’ve been a fan of Peaches for some time now! I will sing their good graces from the mountain top!

My favorite dish to get is the jerk chicken Alfredo pasta. It comes with either a side salad or garlic bread. That pasta used to have me tearing up after like two bites. The jerk was jerkinnn, honey. This last time I had it, it wasn’t as hot but still packed a punch. I ordered to-go, so as pictured the jerk sauce came on the side.

The next time I ordered, I got the chicken stuffed with crabmeat and shrimp, cabbage, and curry potatoes. Everything was exceptional. But baby, those curry potatoes?? God sent.

Sometimes the food tastes awhile to be made, unless you’re ordering from the hot bar. Regardless of how long it tastes, I can assure you it’s made with love.

Bbaaabbbbyyy when I tell you that this food is AMAZING! I ordered the stuffed salmon with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Now I will say that the greens were just okay, they just need more seasoning but I understand that they have to be considerate of some people’s health. Now I did add the jerk sauce ontop of my stuffed salmon. The salmon is stuffed with crab meat and shrimp and it was soooo delicious. The mashed potatoes were a nice consistency. I’m a big foodie so I was blown away. I will be returning to try other food options because there was definitely love put into this meal.

Food was excellent. The stuffed salmon was the best I have had. Authentic jamaican cuisine and American favorites as well. I highly recommend.

This place is always an option that outshine other places. The food speaks volumes because the owner herself prepares food with love. I was never disappointed in the food or service. The owner has a passion for what she does.

I’ve been coming to Peaches Kitchen for years, always drawn in by the warm, family-oriented, and urban atmosphere. It’s been part of what made the place feel special. However, my recent experience was disappointing. The staff member who took my order was dismissive—he cut me off mid-sentence and told me he’d come back, after I had already waited about eight minutes just to be acknowledged with, “He’ll be there in a minute.” The hospitality and gracious energy that once made this spot feel like home just wasn’t there. Sadly, it’s making me rethink whether I’ll continue to support a place that no longer reflects the spirit I fell in love with.

The food is delicious and prices are reasonable. You get enough for two servings. Online ordering is easy to use. The atmosphere is clean, urban and chic. it’s hard to leave without ordering a yummy dessert. The owner Peaches is caring and one of the hardest working women in DC! Kudos to Peaches and her staff!

The brown stew chicken was very good and the broccoli but the mac & cheese tasted like melted butter and it was cold. The cashier could have been more welcoming.
