I decided to try this place since I saw so many good reviews on social media. The food itself had no taste and was pretty disappointing . They had no pepper sauce on the table. The chowmein was full of oil and so many raw vegetables along with the fried rice had no flavor. The items are pretty pricey and food is bland. Drinks were good, assistant manager was very friendly and had nice music. Take the trip to queens to get tasty Guyanese food.

The hostess was polite and friendly. Good first impression. We enjoyed the service and the young lady who attended us was very professional and very knowledgeable about the menu. The coconut mojito was good which was made by our server. The rice was very tasty but the chicken was not to our liking. I would still recommend this establishment. We plan on going back to give it another try.

If I could give this amazing place 10 stars, I would in a heart beat. This was our first time here. From the minute you enter in… you can feel the gt vibezzz. The music is sooo good, but honestly the customer service was one to remember. I think the lady we encountered was the owner or manager, she walked us to our table and we were greeted with so much kindness. The waitress was so efficient and so lovely. She kept checking on us and she even brought us shots. We had the shrimp wontons, absolutely amazing, lamb mini burgers was to die for… and those jerk wings, the flavor!!! My goodness. The food, we ordered one of everything and my favorite was the Rasta pasta with the jerk chicken. Best I ever had. Chowmein and fry rice all on point! We will be back.

My husband is more of a low-key person, and this celebration was executed perfectly in a way that suited him so well. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.
A very special thank you to Victor, the owner, and his incredible team. Victor took the time to listen to every detail of my vision and brought it to life beautifully. Since we live in Connecticut, I wasn’t able to be there in person to set everything up, but Victor handled everything with professionalism and care. He truly took charge, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and every guest had a fantastic time. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were exceptional.
I’m already looking forward to planning my next event at Palm Island. Highly recommend!

This place is so good! Stephanie the manager welcomed us in and seated us. Zenyah our waitress was so kind and attentive. She gave great suggestions! We got the Island pasta lamb chops and Lo mein. Both meals were 1000/10. Very authentic food.
The restaurant was playing good music but I could still have a conversation without screaming so it was perfect. The food, environment, and staff were amazing. This is our new spot!

This is definitely an amazing place for great authentic caribbean food ! A night out with your partner or friends ! Staff is very attentive and atmosphere is beautiful ! Drinks are strong and in a good price range , hookah is phenomenal! PLEASE ASK FOR NASH !!! He’s MORE THAN AMAZING !

My husband and I stopped here last night for dinner. The restaurant was empty for it being almost 8pm. We ordered drinks that they did not have. So we had to change to something else (Hubby liked is Palm drink, I didn’t care for the coconut mojito). My husband wanted lamb but they did not have it, so we made more changes. I was ready to write this place off as tried and won’t do it again until our entrees came out. We both ordered the jerk chicken mine with vegetable fried rice and my husband got the house special fried rice minus the lamb. I was pleasantly surprised!! My chicken was very good and that rice.. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! They revived their review with the rice alone. Now if they could only have available all the items on the menu then I could see us dining here again.

Honestly, I’ve had the best nights at Palm Island especially with Bella bartending. She is absolutely amazing. Customer service 10/10. The drinks and food is amazing. If you’re looking for Caribbean-Chinese Cuisine, this is the place to go. (I don’t usually write reviews but this is the place to be.) You won’t be disappointed…I promise!
