Excellent donuts and excellent service from a Kansas City favorite, this location is small but they have all the donuts the other stores have and they are amazing

$50 for a dozen donuts?? Prices are insanely high for the product, and the customer service was very much lacking. The woman acted annoyed that I was even there. In a world where a store is charging this much, the customer service definitely needs to match it. I won’t be back.

I absolutely love Lamar’s donuts. Went out of my way to get some for coworkers but when I arrived at 6:14am the Johnson Dr location was still closed. Online it shows open time at 6am. I waited until 6:30am. But still no sign of anyone even in the building. I hope all was well and perhaps someone was just late. Just let down as I’d been looking forward to buying some Lamar’s donuts for a few days

Went and the donuts weren’t that good. They needed more flavor to it and the price is high for a donut that hasn’t have a lot of flavor. And secondly the worker looked very lazy, she was talking on her cellphone infront of customers. Doesn’t greet you just say what ya want like how rude show some respect . It was on July 4th at 7;45am and the lady was black with braids

I’ve had donuts from here before and they were pretty good, unfortunately my first time in the store the lady working was super rude and talking on her phone the entire time from entering to leaving, she even put her phone on speaker and would get annoyed when we were asking questions. We felt like an inconvenience, if the experience was better I wouldn’t mind paying for higher priced donuts. We left and went somewhere else.

I feel like my donuts were old. Please look at the donuts in the pictures and look at what was given to me. I have never seen Lamar’s donuts look like this. The cinnamon roll and twist were ridiculously over glazed. My son 8 who is all about Lamar’s spit out his donut and gave back. These tasted way off. I asked for chocolate iced donuts (pointed at them too) like i aways do, and got chocolate donuts with glaze on them. I wanted a regular dount with chocolate icing on them. I paid $23 for 6 donuts. Horribly overpriced. I get 2 dozen in liberty for this price. I will NEVER go back to this location. Not Lamar’s more like LaMikes.

Loved coming here in the past, best donuts in town, but the prices latley are getting ridiculous. I spent $45 on a dozen. Not worth the price to come back anytime soon. Wish it could be more affordable in the future.

Donuts were so high that I walked out. I can get a dozen donuts anywhere in town for 14.99 not 5 or 6 dollars a piece. Soeciality ir not they aren’t worth that much

The two employees did not greet us when we entered. They were on a personal phone call with the cell phone on speaker. The donut I wanted appeared to have chocolate and nuts. I’m allergic to coconut and asked if there was any on this particular item. With the loud noise from the personal call, it sounded like the employee said it was “double chocolate”. Much to my disappointment when I was back in the car, I tasted the coconut and now assume the employee must have said “German chocolate”. I also purchased a maple long john which was dry and they skimped on the icing. The store was very small and disorganized with sticky floors. I will not be back and likely not try any of their other locations based on this experience.

We tried Lamar’s this morning for the first time. The donuts were delicious, but the lady behind the counter was fairly unpleasant and there was nowhere to sit and eat. We paid $17 for four donuts, which seems really high to us. We probably won’t be back, though the donuts were great.
