Very nice sushi menu
I wanted to try a new sushi bar and this place definitely delivered. Diamond Sushi Roll & Annie Chen both were AMAZING picks. Strawberry Daiquiri was tasty. In addition to sushi we had appetizers, Thai Beef Fried Rice and Chicken with Fresh Hot Peppers. Both cuisine dishes were made well, would have preferred a little more taste to be on the savory side. But overall I will definitely be visiting again.

Expectations were not reached here. Upon entering the place could definitely use remodeling. They still have Christmas decorations up. The staff was friendly. The edamame was good but very heavily salted. The 007 roll and the shrimp tempura were ok but had a very heavily fish smell. Obviously i know sushi is fish but the sushi i eat in NYC does not have that strong of a scent. Lastly the Pad thai and Chicken lo mein had a lot of water underneath the food itself and just tasted a bit old. Some of the chicken pieces just tasted anything but chicken. The only reason I did not give 2 stars is because the staff was friendly. Total for the bill was 88$.

The portions are very decent for a solo diner! Just enough for someone with a moderate appetite which I appreciate because I was able to feel full and have a little takeaway container. The mock chicken was fantastic and flavorful. I will return again during my stay in DC.

Fresh sushi & fantastic lunch specials! Everyone from presidents, to congressmen, to celebrities have dined here & loved the food & service as evident by the numerous signed pictures on the wall. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in years!! Too bad it’s all the way in DC! I had the singapore noodles. But everything was good including the egg roll and the hot and sour soup. Good service also. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in DC! Everyone in my group was also very satisfied with their meal! And the portions were very generous! I usually finish all my food but i took a nice amount back to my hotel room for an encore meal!
