This review is long over due. My sister, grandpa and I stopped in while traveling through California, back in March. We all agree it is the best Mexican food we’ve had. I live in Missouri and still think about the shrimp burrito. Jose and Kelly gave us a wonderful experience and Christian was the chef. Wish I lived closer because I’d be a regular.

Amazing place! I came in with my family of 7, and right after us three other parties walked in—one just as big as ours and two smaller groups. Even with all of us coming in at once, there was only one server working. He was so quick, efficient, friendly, and helpful, and honestly did such a great job keeping up with everyone. The fact that he managed to accommodate all the tables by himself is crazy. There was only one cook too, and he was just as fast and impressive, getting food out quickly.
The whole restaurant felt really homely and welcoming. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful, and you could tell they put care into it. The margarita I had was yummy too, definitely worth ordering. Even the restroom was clean, which everyone always appreciates. They do take pride in what they do 🙂
We are traveling for the holiday/weekend and there aren’t many Mexican restaurants nearby, so we were really glad we chose this one. It felt like the perfect stop, the service and food made it worth it. It’s a nice spot to support and give your time to, they deserve the love. I’d definitely come back again whenever I’m in the area!

I’m sad to say, this food is absolutely terrible. This is my second time here. Came for lunch orderwd the lunch plate, with burrito and cheese enchilada for 10.99. Came with a bag of chips and salsa (I didn’t even ask)
Good first experience, so I wanted to come back with my son. We ordered the 6 pack for $18.99: Came with 2 Carne asada taco, 2 carnitas tacos and 2 cheese enchiladas. Didn’t come with any salsa, or chips.. So okay, so I ordered the pint for $2.99 (salsa only)total came out to $24.68 with tax.
I would never send out food looking like this. The carnitas was like jerky, burnt, dried out. The Carne asada was so salty, terrible quality, terrible presentation. The salsa is the best thing I received

The best BREAKFAST BURRITO in Marina!!!! Hands Down!!! Got the chorizo burrito and it had a hearty serving of eggs, chorizo, homemade beans, etc. I challenge you to finish one by yourself. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
