Great service, fresh and very good food. Even the toppings were good-looking and fresh. Chips were limited to 2 choices, but likely due to how busy they were. Clean restaurant and high food health score as of my visit 7/21/24.
Located inside the truck stop, so it was busy in here.

Food was great and made just how I wanted it. My only problem was it seemed like I was being rushed when no one was in line. Another lady from DQ came over and told me my total after I already knew my total. I told her I know already and then she proceeded to repeat the total once again. I don’t appreciate that whole situation.

Absolute worse service. Ordered online. Was supposed to be ready by 7:35. I arrived at 7:45, it wasn’t ready and I waited another 20 minutes for them to make it. 4 subs. They made 2 and proceeded to take other customers that came in after me before finishing making the other 2. Will never return to this location and definitely don’t recommend. Especially if your in a hurry. The only good thing I can say is the stuff looked fresh compared to the other Kenly location.

I went to the one in Kenly on Church Street. I found their sandwiches about $2 more than a regular Subway store. When I asked the lady why she said because they were privately owned and could charge that. Grant you they are off the interstate but still I always thought Subway was a consistent price. I know I won’t be back again. So I hope those two high price subs they sold me we’re worth losing more business from me

I did an online order, and one of my subs was missing 3 ingredients. I also requested toasted, which it was not. Luckily I had a bogo free promo code, so not the end of the world for a free sub. I would just suggest you check your order before you leave if picking up!

Accidentally Vegan Friendly
Subway is one of our “go to” places when on the road as about half of their breads are vegan and we can get a veggie sub at a decent price. Unlike other chains, Subway tells their calorie count for their breads, too.
But we were really impressed with this store when the very friendly clerk gave me a decent sized sandwich and let me quickly get back on the road.

Ordered online using their bogo50 code and they never recieved my order, they definitely recieved my money… I guess i dodged a bullet seeing these other reviews. Subway just perpetually screws up everything ive ever ordered from them.

I wish that I would have seen the previous views of this restaurant before I chose to eat here. I ordered a six in chicken teriyaki for my lunch. I ate no other food that afternoon. Within a few hours I began to feel nauseous. Once I got home, the real nightmare began. I spent the night vomiting and was unable to sleep adequately due to the frequency of my vomiting. I also experienced an intense burning sensation throughout my chest and stomach. This misery continued for about 2 days. Based upon earlier reviews, it appears that this restaurant does not handle or store it’s food properly. Better training and food handling procedures can go a long way in keeping customers safe from food illnesses.
Hopefully management will address this issue so that nobody else has to experience what I went through.

This is a really nice location — a large Petro truck stop that’s a roadside tourist attraction on Interstate 95. Along with Subway there’s a food court with a Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Caribou Coffee and Iron Skillet. It seems perfect for road-weary families who can’t agree on a place to eat.
I ordered a sub made into a salad because I’m on a low-carb diet and stay away from bread. The Subway was clean and service fast and courteous. The employee was nice but didn’t seem to have much experience making salads. When I asked for some mustard, so much was added that the salad was unpleasant.
The marred the meal, obviously, but I will visit during my next road trip through North Carolina because the place is so great.
