First time coming here, and wow the food is amazing. The heat level was perfect. I got the Chicken 45 with a level 3 spice. The drinks were also very good. The staff was knowledgeable about what would be good for specific spice levels.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional, but two things truly set it apart: the absolutely incredible food and our waiter, Sandi.
Let’s start with Sandi. He wasn’t just polite he was genuinely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He had a perfect sense of when to check on us and when to give us space, and his recommendations were spot-on. He truly is the best and added so much warmth to our afternoon.
Now, the food… WOW!! Every dish we tried was extra amazing. The flavors were bold, balanced, and truly memorable, you can taste the care and quality in every bite. Tried Mint & Martini for takeout for the first time and had a nice overall meal! Prices were high (typical for Seattle), but all the dishes were tasty and reasonably portioned. I wish my jalapeno chicken was spicier, and the fried baby corn could have been crispier. But the butter chicken was quite good and the naan a standout.

I celebrated my birthday yesterday at Mint and Martini in Capitol Hill, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience! The place was super duper busy when we arrived, which honestly says a lot about how popular it is. Even though we had a reservation, we did have to wait about 45 minutes while standing. At first it felt like a long wait, but seeing how lively and packed the restaurant was made it understandable, they were clearly in high demand and getting busier by the minute.
Despite the crowd, the staff remained incredibly kind and professional. You could tell they were a bit overworked that night, yet they still handled everything with patience and smiles. Once we were seated, the atmosphere immediately felt welcoming. The restaurant is really spacious and impressively clean, which I always appreciate, especially on a busy evening.
Our server, Arjun, truly made the night special. He was very attentive, warm, and thoughtful throughout our visit. Even with so many tables to manage, he kept checking on us and made sure everything was perfect. Service like that makes a huge difference, and he definitely deserves recognition for going above and beyond.
We ordered quite a variety of dishes and drinks, and every single item impressed us. The appetizers — especially the fish pakora — were absolutely amazing, crispy and full of flavor. We also tried Hakka noodles, chicken dishes, black dal, and a naan basket that had all different varieties, which was such a nice touch because we got to taste multiple flavors in one order. Everything came out surprisingly quick considering how busy it was, and the food tasted fresh and delicious. To finish, we had the chiku ice cream, which was unique and so good — the perfect sweet ending to a birthday meal.
The prices were very reasonable for the quality, portion sizes, and overall experience. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the service, it was honestly such a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion.
Overall: Even with the wait, I’d still give this place a full five stars without hesitation. Great food, kind staff, lively vibe, and a memorable birthday celebration — I’ll definitely be back!

Swung by for a late lunch on a Wednesday and it was exactly what we needed. The place was pretty quiet which made for a quicker serve time as hoped. Food tasted great, spice level was perfect at three and the staff was super kind. Just a bit on the pricer side.

Sandi was our server and did his best, considering low staffing and the bartender being indisposed. Sandi was very polite and as attentive as possible.
The decoration is simple but nice and the music was enjoyable. We asked for 2 Martinis but were told “the bar tender had to leave and they were not sure when he would come back”. So, Mint and Martini had NO Martinis. We started our meal with the Double Masala Papad. This small plate was fresh and tasty. For the main entrees we had:
M&M Special Methi Malai Paneer (Sauce was good but could have been better).
And
The Butter Paneer (bland and lacking in taste. The color did not match the flavor). This dish was disappointing.
The rice was okay but needed an herb or a spice. The garlic Naan was very good.
Overall, I will come back to give it another try.

This place has been on my list to try for a while and I was initially skeptical because restaurants in this part of town tend to be very catered to American tastes and less authentic. However, my experience with Mint and Martini was nothing short of excellent. Our server was very nice and helped us through the night with everything we needed. The booth we were at was in the shape of an enclosed circle so there was a lot of privacy and the design was pretty cool. The food and drinks however was definitely the highlight. I ordered their namesake mint and martini cocktail which was pretty mild and sweet, definitely heavy on the mint and tasted very refreshing. Their food tasted exactly like how I remember chefs in India making the recipes. They used spices, cream, tomato and other ingredients in a perfect ratio for the chicken curry and paneer tikka masala. The garlic naan was crispy and fresh. Their gobi Manchurian was a bit on the spicy side but it was some of the best indo Chinese I’ve eaten in the area. Overall great place that lived up to the hype.
