This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The staff are kind and quick, the atmosphere is fun and clean. If it is someone’s birthday they will come out and sing and make a big deal if you want them to. Homemade salsa and chips are brought out when you sit down– it’s so tasty it could be slurped by the vat. The management treats people like family and they are amazing at recognizing folks. This place has been here for decades and is a staple in the community, but it looks new. It even still has the old fashioned 25 cent gumball and chicklet machines by the door that kids love. Festive, well decorated, clean. The food is delicious. Try everything.

Cold smoking XXL frosted mug of Dos Equis, crispy loaded tostada, fresh lettuce, tomato…hot beans and rice. We sat at the bar and enjoyed excellent service. 10/10 after work dinner. This place hits every time.

This place is awesome! My wife and I stopped in for dinner while visiting our kids, who work at the Wilds Christian Camp. Being from Tampa, we love our Mexican food! El Chapala met every expectation. We are thrilled to know of this fine place! The service is amazing. The food is awesome. We loved it! There was one problem…. our stomachs were not big enough to eat more…. it is just so good, you can’t stop! Great job, El Chapala! We will be back for sure!

First off the service was excellent. The food was all good but not great. Everything was a bit underseasoned if you’re used to traditional Mexican. However the prices were very reasonable on the portions were generous.

It’s good food and it’s conveniently located on the entrance of Pisgah forest. It’s a great place to eat before heading outdoors. The service was great and friendly. The decor is really out there and really loud like a Cantina.

I was actually headed to a different restaurant when we drove by this place. There were a couple of Brevard police officers having dinner here so we knew this had to be a good place. We decided to swing in and check it out. The service was very proficient and our waiter was very attentive. I would give the food to four stars it was very good, but the top shelf margaritas with the fresh lime juice were five stars. They also have a Texas margarita that was very good also. If you try el Chapala, try the Chile Colorado and top shelf margarita made with Don Julio tequila.

I’m a local and I’ve frequented El Chapala for years. The staff know me by name and they feel like family. I highly recommend their margaritas. They make them strong, just FYI. I always get the steak fajitas and the fiancé gets alamabres. Delicious! Also, if you’re up for dessert, be sure to get the flan.

Found a piece of metal in my sandwich after eating half of it. We took it back and were denied a refund. Found out the metal shaving was due to a scouring pad/steel wool. Very dangerous
