1925 PubHouse is a locally owned restaurant with two Indiana locations in Anderson and Downtown Muncie. Built around scratch cooking, great hospitality, and a place where people naturally gather, the PubHouse has become known for smashburgers, hand-cut tenderloins, steaks, seafood, and a bar program featuring craft cocktails and rotating taps. Both locations share the same philosophy: serve great food, deliver warm service, and create a place where weeknight dinners, celebrations, and spontaneous nights out all feel right. Family-run gastro pub with two Indiana rooms and 90+ years of combined hospitality behind the bar, the pass, and the floor.

My wife and I are new to the area and were hoping to find a place to have dinner that we enjoyed, since we now live right by this restaurant. We sat in the bar area and we ordered wings for an app, a ribeye and a burger for entrees. After 35 minutes of waiting, I walked to the bar and asked about our app. About 10 minutes later our entrees arrived. The other bartender delivered it and told us they had forgotten our wings. My ribeye came out med-well, I ordered medium rare. I was starving and ate it anyway, as we had already been waiting almost an hour. The girl who originally had been waiting on us, never came back to our table and the other bartender took over. I thought maybe after all of this, maybe we would have a discount or something offered, but no. We were disappointed as we had hoped to find a close place to eat out.

This establishment is our #1 choice for lunch and dinner. We takeout and dine in regularly. The staff and food are amazing! If haven’t had chef Kevin’s fish tacos do that today! 1925 is truly the best restaurant in both Anderson and Muncie Indiana!

What a great spot! The food was delicious, and the menu offers a nice variety of foods to choose from. The best part is the atmosphere: they have a lovely patio for outdoor seating, and the view of the golf course is beautiful. The staff was very friendly, and while we were too full for dessert, they looked delicious! With ample parking and a loyalty point system, this place is a must-visit.

A friend and I went here for lunch yesterday, and to watch the Ohio State game. They accommodated us by sitting us directly by the TV in the bar, and turning on the game. Between us we ordered two appetizers (mozzarella sticks and loaded potato skins), a tenderloin and fries, and a 12 inch pizza. The appetizers were standard fare. The tenderloin is probably one of the best I’ve ever eaten, and the fries accompanying it were excellent, as well. The thin crust pizza is top notch! I can’t say enough about the crust, absolutely perfect! There is also an excellent bar selection, and the location is lovely. I can’t wait to go back during warmer weather to dine on the patio. The staff was WONDERFUL, very attentive and friendly without being overbearing.

When I first came in, I thought it smelled a little musty, maybe that was just me. Tables and dining space were clean. Only a couple of other tables were occupied, but food still took a while to come out. Server was friendly. The fries were good, the breaded tenderloin was ok but definitely not the best I have had. Would give it another chance if I am in neighborhood, but would try another menu item.

Great hidden gem! Great customer service, fantastic view of the golfcourse, and great food at a reasonable price. Couldn’t ask for more! Its fun watching the golfers. We left very satisfied and love how tables in the dinning room are spread out so you can enjoy your family without being in everyones business. The fish tacos are nig and very filling. We love the pretzel bites too! Will have to try other things next time. Oh and did I mention the side salad was sooo fresh with egg! Don’t see that often.

The Anderson location at the golf course has a bar, dining room and a patio with a nice view. Kyle was very attentive and friendly and brought us 2 wonderful long Islands, the bar service is not fast. Apparently there are different food menus between Anderson and Muncie. Our Mexican street corn with chorizo was fresh with a mild zip, bone in Buffalo wings were tender but crispy with a zing. Mahi tacos, on the other hand, although the fish was well prepared, lacked anything special. The men’s room was very clean and maintained. Our deserts, chocolate fudge cake and rass squirrel cheese cake were to-go so I’ll update about it soon.

First time here, set outside nice view of golf course. Drinks were really good, service (Casey) was very attentive, nice and got everything correct. We took our time with drink then lunch. She had fish tacos, great spice and very good portion (2). I had a great salad and lobster roll, which turned out to be two huge half sandwiches with tons of lobster. Highly recommend!!! We will be coming back and bring friends.

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly. There was plenty of parking. They have a nice variety of foods to choose from on the menu. They have a patio for outdoor seating option. The view of the golf course is beautiful. We were so full so we didn’t get dessert but they looked delicious. And they have a point system you can sign up for to earn points to get discounts on your bill.

My wife and I were attending an event in Anderson and wanted to try a new place for dinner beforehand. We rolled the dice on the 1925 and came up winners. The restaurant is nicely informal without feeling commonplace. Service was quick and friendly. My wife liked her steak and my pork was delicious. My green beans were especially good. Come spring weather we will be back to try the patio seating.
