Sam’s is a Bar & Grill. We have offer live music, pool tables, dart boards, and other entertainment. Our location has 3 different performance stages. We have a stage inside the bar that provides an area for entertainment during the colder months or for smaller performances that prefer that indoor setting. There is a Tiki bar out back for people to hang out, that also includes a stage for those warmer days. For larger entertainment needs, Sam’s has a full size amphitheater perfect for large concerts or events. We have strived to provide a little something for everyone. All are welcome. Come on down to enjoy our comfortable environment, great staff, and awesome patrons.

I Love this place.
It feels more like a home away from home.
Kinda like Cheers, where everybody knows your name and says, ” Hey Brother, how are you doing?” When most ask, they really mean it.
The owner and Staff and Bar Managers are on point with what they are doing and have some Amazing things in store for folks.
The Outdoor Amphitheatre out back makes you either feel at home, or like you’re getting ready for a Moonshine Bandits & Dusty Leigh Show.
The food is great & they have some plans in place to make up a whole new menu.
I definitely give this ole biker bar a 5 star ⭐ review, because when I needed someplace to hang out & be safe, they said get to work and make yourself at home.
Just don’t ask to go behind the bar, because, the bartenders have that on lockdown & do an Amazing job.
If your looking for one of the best places to hang out this is definitely one place anyone can go relax and have a great to getting away without having to go very far.

Went for a show last night on a Friday. The music was good. 4 bands played. Admission was $12, but for 4 bands that was probably fair. Had a cheese burger, but they didn’t have fries. My cocktail, which was usually $8, which I felt was a bit pricey to begin with, jumped up to $11. And that was with a military discount. I was told the prices go up during live music. Now I always thought that bars did this to cover the cost of the entertainment, but if you’re charging a cover charge I thought that paid for the entertainment. So if you do the math, 3 drinks (+$3ea) =$9+$12 cover, now I’m paying $21 for entertainment. Sorry, but for me that starts getting too spendy. My hats off to whoever came up with that scheme though. I enjoyed the music, but unfortunately some of the same problems persist, namely lack of quick service. There must have been 150-200 people and not a single waitress or server. To compound the problem, one single bartender with one single pay point. Typical waiting time in line for a drink, 10-15 minutes. That’s 10-15 minutes of my $21 show that I’m missing each time I’m getting a drink. I will give the gal tending bar credit, despite being utterly overwhelmed, she remained courteous and professional. Despite being remodeled, they still only have 1 single occupancy restroom for men and 1 for women. They did have some Honey buckets out back, but by the end of the evening they got pretty gross. I wish I could give this place a better review and rating. Ten years ago Uncle Sam’s (as it was named then) was my home away from home. My how the times are a changing.

I lived in Spanaway from 2014-2015. Brand new to the area, 3000 miles away from home and didn’t know a lot of people, came to Sam’s regularly with my friend Tracy and everyone here welcomed me with open arms. The staff and the frequent goers were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Great beer, great food, and an overall great time. I hope to visit here again one day to relive some of those fond memories!

I’m really confused.
It just feels like someone took an old store and put some tables and a couple pool tables and call it good.
Nice enough people it just felt like I had just walked into someone’s living room and I didn’t know what to do with myself.
Not sure if it was the lack of music or the lack of food smells… Something was just off. I think it’s a locals-only kind of place. That’s the vibe I got.
The owner can either take this as offensive or as it is meant: as good feedback from an out of towner.
