The “burgers” here are amazing! From beef, lamb or chicken you cannot go wrong!
The fries are shoe string fries and had the right amount of crispiness and has a hint of seasoning that made them a top 3 restaurant fry in my opinion.
My son ordered the lamb burger and I ordered the chicken kabob burger. The chicken on my sandwich may have been the most juicy tender price of chicken I have had in a long time. The flavor is unmatched!
I will be back again to try a new burger!

Local family owned business, small and hidden gem near Cosner’s Corner shopping centre. Fast and friendly customer service, family and kids friendly. Verity of food to pick from including vegetarian options.

HomeSpun gets lots of points for trying a new and unique concept. They take Middle Eastern kabobs and serve them as an American Hamburger.
The kabob meat was very good. The condiments and sauces were good. The bread was not so good.
We really enjoyed the vibe of the place. Service was very good. I suspect it is all done by one person.
The price is a bit high.

Absolutely love this place! I had the Kimchi Hotdog today and it was the best hot dog I’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

We checked this place out on a whim and were very happy with our choice. The food here is great! Come very hungry or be prepared to take some of your food home because the burgers we got were enormous. We each got a lamb kabob burger and they were amazing! Big, delicious chunks of lamb and veg sandwiched inside equally delicious homemade, sliced rolls. The service was also excellent. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Burger was huge and tasted amazing. You need to try one. Then get an ice cream for dessert.

Each time I visited HomeSpun the time and prices were worth it. The flavor and spices were there with the freshness of the juicy meats! The older man was always sweet and tried offering me ice cream but I just had a taste for their food food. I did plan on trying almost everything on the menu, so I hope this spot is not closing for good! I love trying new things so I tried to put people onto HomeSpun!

Husband and I ate here for lunch. He got the gyro wrap and I got the chicken shawarma wrap. We both thought the food was amazing. The shawarma was so flavorful and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. The portions are huge, and could certainly serve as 2 meals. We got ice cream too to try it and the soft serve was really good but we weren’t fond of the coatings. Too waxy for us, but that’s our personal preference.

Edit: After a few visits I would no longer say this is the Best lamb gyro around. They wrap it in tin foil and cut after.. so little bits of tin foil always end up on the pita, which is far too large for any human appetite.
Also, it tasted like the French fry bag was left open in the freezer a while. So the fries which were good a few weeks ago tasted like freezerburn this time.
If they got smaller, thinner pitas and used that same tasty lamb and fresh vegetables this place would be great.
They need to ditch all the signs out front and let people see inside too. I don’t think I’ll be back.. but I truly hope they get it together and can fix the issues with the food.
We went here all signage was showing burgers.. and I previously recommended the lamb gyro which was amazing the first time and a large portion size.. minus the tin foil issue. I loved the green sauce and pink sauce, and they have a lot of sauces. I tried every gyro in town that I could find so far and this had the best lamb flavor. The fries first time were good too.. crispy, shoestring fries with Cajun seasoning. I couldn’t wait to go back in the next 2 weeks.. I went back twice.. and it went from 5 to 3 stars.

Excellent food with more than ample portions. Staff is super friendly and the dining area was clean and comfortable. My chicken shwarma was excellent and my wife’s beef kabob burger was delicious. If you’re looking for food with a middle eastern touch, this is a great choice… highly recommended
