As someone who grew up eating Mediterranean food, and coming from Michigan, where some of the best Mediterranean restaurants are, it’s been really hard to find truly good spots in Kansas City. This place is hands down the best I’ve found out here. The food is amazing, authentic, and full of real flavor. You can tell it’s made with care and done right. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Mediterranean food in KC.

What a great place , The shawarma is excellent—well-seasoned, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can taste the quality in every bite. The staff are very nice and genuinely friendly, which makes the experience even better. The place itself is cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed meal.
Big plus for me specially : the food is halal. Highly recommended if you’re in Kansas City and want real, satisfying Middle Eastern food.

First impression? I loved the interior because it’s cute, spacious, & feels inviting.
Second, the food was definitely the highlight. We had the mixed grill platter, which was full of flavor, & the lentil soup might have been my personal favorite basically comfort in a bowl BUT the lamb chops were the real star of the meal.
Lastly, as for service, everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly. It was an excessive wait time but I’m chalking that up to a slower paced style especially since it was dead but again the team did come around.
Overall, good food, relaxed vibe & if you’re not in a rush, it’s a solid spot to enjoy a meal

Great halal spot with amazing food! The lentil soup was honestly one of the best I’ve had. Our group ordered the cheesesteak, grill mix for four, and a bunch of appetizers, everything was delicious. We kept complimenting the chef.

I’m from out of town and have been working in KC over the last 2 months. I like to try local restaurants in the area, and I’m glad this one came up on my search. The food was DELICIOUS, and the new owners are amazing! I ordered the mixed grill plate because I couldn’t decide on just one thing.

Just, Don’t! The guy said they are new and just opened 1 week ago. I don’t know how as the place has been in this spot for a very long time.
Half the drink menu is not actually offered.
I guess they’re under new ownership?? He said they just opened 1 week ago. Not sure how that works.
No other customers at lunch time.
Lentil soup is tomatoes and heavy cream blended together, topped with lentils for decoration. Asked for cup sizes, they brought and charged for the larger bowl size.
Rice could have been microwaved for longer. Chicken was dehydrated.
Ended up at Tiki Taco across the street after dropping $65 on Kari’s inedible food.
