What a fun place to hang out! I went there to meet a client and afterwards decided to have some dinner! The fish tacos were excellent! They made me happy by having Coca-cola. The homemade chips were great too! It could tell by looking around that it is a local hangout with all the people having fun and smiling. Thank you for a great experience and I’ll be back! I got to meet the owners too and they were awesome!

This is a great local bar! There is music every night and most of it is live. The waitresses are always attentive and friendly. You may have to wait a moment for help when there’s a big band, but it is worth it. I recommend the pizza and of course frog legs .

i’ve lived on the island my whole life, and this place has always been my getaway for friends, food, and the drinks. Although, i’ve have lately been running into some serious issues with a bartender. I love Paty although i’m extremely disappointed in her sister. She’s rude and isn’t afraid to show it. Her snarky attitude can ruin your whole night. Not only that, she’ll actively roll her eyes to customers and yell at the for problems that aren’t theirs. For example, i watched a man who has been a regular and is a very enjoyable person- drink slide off the bar due to the drink being wet and uneven bar and he immediately apologized and cleaned it up. Then this so called sister made him another drink and he turned his back and it happened again she then made a huge deal out of it even tho she was the one handing him a wet cup without any coaster even after he asked. This man had to then pay for both drinks even though it was not his fault. I also witnessed her yelling at a young woman due to the girl saying she should have a tab under her family name and the bartender claimed she didn’t and said don’t come up to the bar and order unless you have a tab open in a very aggressive way. Which to my concern is very confusing due to the fact its a bar, where else do you order? When it was time to tip i watched her personality change into a somewhat sweet personas then she turned around rolling her eyes. what kind of grown woman shows this at work, I understand it was busy but she should be able to keep some what of a cool. I have also worked in the service industry so I understand her attitude expect she was expressing to the wrong people which is not expectable especially locals who have gone there for years and give her a job.Overall she needs a attitude adjustment.

I am visiting friends on the island.
They talked up Froggys and stated how it was their favorite restaurant/bar for food, drinks and they always have great music. We went last night ~ band didn’t show up, waitress was “new” and never submitted our order, we were told it was a printer issue?? Really, just own up to the mistake and make up stupid lies.
Overall not impressed

Another great restaurant on Pine Island.. the food was fresh, cooked perfectly and delicious. Service was exceptional, the young lady always had a smile on face. She was professional and made me feel welcomed. The music was ok. Overall – I’ll definitely return.. it was a great experience.

My wife and I stopped here all three nights that we were camping at a nearby KOA about 2 miles north of the restaurant between March 24-26, 2005. It looks somewhat unappealing on the outside, but on the inside it is very nice and clean, with great lighting, and it looks like it was recently remodeled. It’s more of a late night place to go because they have either live music or karaoke every night of the week. We noted that most of the crowd was comprised of locals who live in the St. James city area or on the south end of Pine Island. They have a long bar in the rear of the restaurant with lots of seats on both sides of it, and also a lot of dining tables inside as well as a few on the porch out front. There is a band area on the north side of the restaurant (inside). They have a good menu, but we only had a late night appetizer there. The front side parking lot gets full very quickly, but they have additional parking out back. All three nights we went there (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) it was packed with people and everyone was having a great time listing to the live music and/or some very good local karaoke singers. We found it to be a very enjoyable place and the only one in St. James City to stay open past 10:00 pm.

I’m a local here on Pine Island and I’m sorry to have to post this, Froggy is used to have some of the best food on the island, however even after talking to them about their frog legs being way too over, battered and tasting like they’re Cooked in burnt grease they Still have not corrected the issue. This is very unfortunate because the frog legs used to be amazing. I don’t know if the cook has changed the owner changed recipe or what but not going back to you correct the issue. I literally just threw them in the trash, not worth eating

Just a good old fashioned bar with better than average food menu. Live music most nights. Good sports bar. Friendly patrons.
