Golden Thai is a hidden gem in Chicago! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Everything we tried was full of authentic Thai flavors without being overwhelming. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food and the experience they give their customers. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!

The restaurant is small but clean. The food comes out hot and very delicious. I just love their Appetizers/Starters! They cook the Shrimps to perfection in any dish I’ve ordered. The staff/Owner are nice and accommodating. And my orders/bills are accurate.

A warm well priced meal with great spice on a cold day. Can’t ask for much more out of a very friendly neighborhood Thai restaurant. Try the garlic chicken or the crab rangoon they are fantastic.

Golden Thai
This was a happy circumstance. Our regular Thai place was closed, so we came here. I had eth Rama, the veggies were fresh, and the peanut sauce was not overpowering; it was a bit thick in consistency but had a good taste; I had mine with chicken.
The treat was the curry puffs; I have had these at another restaurant named Hong Min that used to be located in Chinatown. These are similar, but they do not have chicken, and the size is more smaller.
But they had that similar curry taste, and it beats having to go all the way to 127th to Hing Min.
We really liked the food; the peanut sauce was so enjoyable that I could see us returning just for that dish.
Service was quick, and the place was super tiny; we noticed a downstairs area, but it was closed. I saw many orders going out for pick up and delivery, and it is close to a college so I fugure everybody orders.
I do recommend it.

Stopped by Golden Thai for lunch and left pretty satisfied. The green curry was on point—just the right amount of heat and packed with flavor. Tried the Pad See Ew too; it had a nice balance of sweet and savory, though I would’ve liked it a bit saucier. Portions were generous, and the jasmine rice was perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and quick, even during the lunch rush. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity. Definitely a solid spot for Thai food in the area.

The food was good, a little oily but not excessively so. I got Drunken Noodles and crab rangoon. The portion was really small for an entree.
