Decent place, the restaurant itself seems a bit outdated, no booths seating, good food and service. One minus on my visit was the miso soup not hot when it came out. Quite disappointing in cold weather. All other food was good. We tried pot stickers, sesame chicken, princess deep-fried roll and Katalina roll. Recommended.

Great spot for sushi in the Elk Grove area. This establishment has been here for a long time and their consistency is still there. We decided to come in for dinner and were greeted almost immediately and seated right after. Luckily we came in early for dinner because it started to get busy because of the Sunday happy hour. The food was great and the sushi was fresh. Definitely a spot you don’t want to miss out on!

High energy atmosphere with talented chefs always wowing the guests. Wasn’t all flash, thankfully. Food was pretty solid. I had ordered tonkatsu calamari and they messed up my order and ended up grilling it instead. It was still tasty (maybe it was a good mess up!). Fun for the kids. They’ll get a kick out of the surprise flames and egg juggling. 🙂

So my wife and I decided to stop in for a last minute lunch. We were wanting to try some sushi with cucumber wrapped around it instead of rice. Well Kintaro knocked it out of the park! The service was great. The food was nice and fresh. The environment was calm and relaxing. A great way to try a new style/flare of sushi. We truly enjoyed ourselves. We look forward to returning to this place…

I’ll start off by saying the service was pretty excellent albeit a little new. He was really attentive and did his best to accommodate any way he can. But unfortunately the food was really not good. I ordered two rolls gluten free, and one came out with tempura(not gluten free) and the other had tempura stuck to the bottom which I didn’t realize till I was already eating it. The rolls were weirdly warm for a cold roll, covered in cross contamination and overall just tasted a little off. My girlfriend’s order also looked terrible honestly and none of their spicy rolls looked like they actually had any sauce in the spicy tuna and they said tasted really bland and not spicy. A bummer because we’re always looking for new sushi spots but the cross contamination thing makes this not a choice for me in the future. Hopefully they work on that because the space is nice and the servers are friendly.

This sushi spot is so underrated! Food is great but service is top notch! Jacob is awesome- He’s very attentive; more than any other server but all are great. I’m one of the few people who isn’t a fan of sushi but after yesterday’s meal- I’ve been converted and decided to come again today! My favorite is the baked salmon roll. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed.
