Food was excellent. My husband had the cheese steak sandwich and elk chili. He said that although there were jalapenos in the chili it was more sweet than heat balancing the flavors. I had the quesadilla which was perfectly flat and filled from point to top. Most places there isn’t any filling once you get to the very top of the quesadilla. This was NOT the case here. Our server was very sweet and checked on is a couple times but did not hover (which we appreciated). The interior was rustic and the fireplace added a homey intimate touch. All in all highly recommend!

The food was perfect! I truly appreciated that turkey sausage was an option, not everyone wants pork. The service was good. My husband loved his meal. The price was very fair for the portions.

The wings were very good. Crispy skin and moist chicken. Buffalo and sweet Thai chili sauce were excellent. Service is not good. Our server was fine, not friendly but just whatever. Once our food arrived by someone else, he never came back to check once. Had to track him down behind the bar to pay our tab. I won 120 bucks in the slot machine so I don’t really care.

Best eggs and great coffee! Cozy quiet table by the fireplace. The Miner’s Breakfast was delicious. They were out of hash browns but gladly substituted sweet potato fries and pancakes – yummy! Great service and great food!

The food and service here was great! Menu is simply with options for anyone. There is a full bar with seating and a separate dining room that is more cozier. Very affordable. Highly recommend.

We ate here several times during our visit to Yellowstone as it was right next to our hotel. We experienced long waits for food, but the food itself was great…hence only four stars overall. If you’re not in a rush, then definitely check this place out. We befriended Will who’s serving till November 2025 and he was wonderful – lively, fun, attentive…he took great care of us and his service was a wonderful part of our trip!

I have learned that one has to overlook the star ratings sometimes. First visit, dinner, was really good. The elk chili was very flavorful, the kids ate a really nice hot dog and burger and the Montana Philly was really good too. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were pretty good too. Our waiter was a nice fella. The kitchen was backed up they told us but we are on vacation, what’s the rush. We’re thinking about trying it for breakfast.

Came to eat here and it was horrible. They gave us crumbs as chips for the spinach artichoke dip and the chili didn’t have any sour cream. I asked for sweet potato fries and didn’t get them had to ask again. They came out old but hot. Wouldn’t recommend this place. The service wasn’t too great either. $52 wasted.

The food is incredible! It comes out fast and flavorful. All of the wait staff is kind, cheerful and attentive. The chicken pot pie is so good but the trout was the clear winner.

Our server, Leslie was amazing but sadly someone else called out leaving her the only waitress in the main dining area. But she did great. Our kids quickly received water in fun plastic cups that made their night, while we reviewed the menu to order. If in the area would recommend coming back. Their Cowboy beans were delicious.
